Did you watch the 2009 Miss America Pageant? If you watched it you know who won, and that’s Miss Indiana, Katie Stam. But aside from the big night, one of the highlights of the pageant was the Swimsuit Competition. I hope you saw the event because you’ll just be amazed by how different this year’s competition really is from the previous years.
Well-Sculpted Bodies at the 2009 Miss America Pageant
The contestants really made a big effort preparing as you can see from their figures. It’s like all the ladies had their bodies sculpted from spending hours in the gym. It’s not a bad thing though; just different. But personally, I prefer very natural-looking curves. I don’t admire huge biceps and thighs in beauty queens.

Influenced by this thought, I liked the look of several contestants during the Swimsuit Competition. Miss Kentucky, Emily Ann Cox, Miss New York Leigh-Taylor Smith, Miss Alabama, Amanda Tapley, Miss Washington, Janet Harding, and Miss Iowa, Olivia Myers all looked great. However, the winner of the swimsuit competition turned out to be Miss Mississippi Christine Kozlowski. She was wearing a black and white bikini when won the competition in the second night of the preliminary competition in Las Vegas. She took home a $1,000 scholarship.
