Algerian singer Cheb Khaled recently joined fellow Algerian artists in a march against the horrific events in Gaza after which he declared that he is ready to pick up a weapon and fight for Palestine.
Cheb Khaled Ready For War!
He added his disappointment at the Arab leaders who have managed to do close to nothing to stop the occurrences and I join him in his disappointment! But his statements got me thinking, what can socialites and celebrities do to help?
I mean it’s nice of Cheb Khaled to say that he is ready to fight, but (like many of us) I truly doubt that he his willing to go to war himself. But these people have made millions over the years and their contributions can really save lives! All these people writing and performing songs about Gaza but they need more than your rhyming lyrics, they need your support!
I also think that Cheb Khaled’s advice to the Arab leaders was wise; he demands that they cut off all supplies and all political dealings with Israel!

one doesnt need to speak arabic 3edel to believe that Israel is an enemy and to wish for an opportunity to fight this enemy...yes this might be only a dream to do so but this is still better than asking for peace with an enemy who is killing women,children etc..w ya ret wa2afet 3la asking 4 peace!
many ppl are speaking arabic 3edel as much as u want ya masry and they are doing nothing,they even support Israel..on the contrast ,some ppl dont speak arabic just like SHAFEZ-Venzuella and he did what arabic leaders couldnt do!

How convenient of this ba3ra to say something like this. When they were murdering Palestinians and building settlements in the late 90s, he was singing with a woman who was in the IDF and was involved or even witnessed atrocities against Palestinians.
Out of all songs, they did a duet of John Lennon's "Imagine". Nice way to disgrace a beautiful song by singing it with a war criminal.
