Whilst some are insensitive, others truly feel the pain of the children who are being massacred in Gaza and are not in the mood to celebrate and artist Maya Nasry fits into the latter category. She has delayed the huge event that she was planning during which she plans to announce her engagement to director Ehab Lamy because of the events in Gaza!

The event was actually organized in order to silence the rumors that have been flying around about those two!

As much as I truly admire and respect the decision, I think that whilst it may not be in order to celebrate it is still essential to fight death with life. People in Palestine get married every day, not because they are insensitive but because they want to show the enemy that we can still live our lives and have children who will be the soldiers of the future! But nonetheless when the situation stabilizes I am sure everything will go ahead and I wish Maya a very happy matrimony.
