Special Thanks to Bush and His Fans!
I want to thank the citizens of the United States who have voted for George Bush, not for one term but for two terms, which have finally come to an end, Good riddance!
You deserve special thanks and gratitude not only from me but from the whole world…
Maybe you didn’t see what was coming, but not only has your life turned to hell during these last 8 years and ending it with a total economic disaster but your votes for Bush granted you a lifetime sentence of hate! People around the world hate the United States now and are burning its flag! The American government is now desperate to get new immigrants but no one is interested to live your American nightmare or ‘dream’ as you may recall it was once called.
If all that is not enough, your genius Bush has granted the world another reason to remember him for the ‘war president’ he is; allowing Israel to continue its massacre in Gaza…
If it makes it clearer, you witnessed 9/11 for one day but people in Gaza have been witnessing 9/11 x 100 every single day for the past two weeks ….

On the other hand, my sincere respect goes out to those Americans who have not voted for Bush during these past 8 years and who still believe in peace and justice for the whole world.

As much as I enjoy all of your articles, I can say that I didn't really like the whole "bashing on Americans" part of this one. Remember, both of the past two elections (2000 & 2004) were scandalous and that is the only way Bush was elected President.
But anyways, most of us here on the other side of the hemisphere are so fed up with the Government and have given up hope. Most ppl don't know whats going on in the middle east b/c the media (CNN/ ABC/NBC) won't show us the other side, the real side and how innocent ppl are suffereing in Gaza.
Please...the only thing i can ask for from the rest of the world is to give the US some type of patience and maybe, maybe even forgiveness for the government and some few citizens!Please...lets stop spreading more hate..this world can't take anymore of it.

My open letter was destinated to certain group of American citizens not the whole USA, we have many many friends in the United States who we respect and proud to be friends with and we also understand how bias your media is...
That was just a message, an open letter to Bush as a president before he leaves forever next week....

I agree from girl from detroit, With all do respect, You can't post an article like that is directly from the website, thus it represents the website. I am Qatari, but I wouldn't like to see Americans reading this and feeling, I mean we are all entitled to our opinion, but waleg.com represents Arabs in general, not all arabs would like to say that to Americans, such as myself. Some arab countries may have had problems with the U.S and it's association with Israel and what's happening in Iraq, But again, not all arabs hold a grudge against Americans. Arabs keep on giving wrong messages to non-arabs, especially americans that is why they don't trust us in their countries and don't easily bond with us, and that is from articles like this and many other things.
I am a big WALEG fan, But these kind of articles piss me off.

This article is so true, WALEG thanks for informing them(the Americans) this, and they have to wake up now and I hope Obama changes the U.S.A as he said that he will, although it won't benefit the arab people with anything but he might be slightly more smarter than Bush.
Anyway, the U.S.A will continue to support Israel for years to come. Israel is not going anywhere and it will probably keep killing the palestinians in Gaza, claiming that they are defending the 1 million Israeli citizens in southern Israel from the Hamas rockets. Unless, we do something about it, which is unlikely to happen of course, this will continue until all the palestinians in Gaza, and the West bank die or go somewhere else so that Israel can live happily ever after.
The problem didn't start on the 27th of December, 2008, the problem started in 1948. This has been going on for 60 years and look at Palestine now, there is no Palestine, they call it the Palestinians territories, which is Gaza and the West Bank, where oppressed palestinians are hardly living, and getting slaughtered by Israelis everyday.
Americans are unaware of all of what's happening, they think that we ( the 9/11 causers) are the terrorists, we are the cancer, we are the problem. We are certainly doomed forever, because we accepted this ''Israel'' from the beginning, and they have fooled us for many years and we have been fooling ourselves, and we accepted the fact that we don't do anything about it, and god will punish us too.

I'm but saying what you said that you wouldn't say anything offensive and no grudges, thats just plain stupid, maybe YOU should consider reading thoroughly the articles you post.
Don't hate me, I say it again, I am a big fan of waleg.com and I enjoy the different topics you post, but this is wrong.
Last I didn't as you to delete the article, I just mean that things like this article and other stuff make non-arabs hate us.

Unfortunately, though i hate bush, but its the US POLICY and it wont change any time soon ... cant u see their position of whats going on these past 3 weeks in Gaza!!! +400 children died, +100 women died .... total death toll exceeds 1200 with + 5300 wounded and the UNITED STATES STILL with supporting and protecting Israel !!!! :(
I hope the US Citizens will wake up one day from their deep sleep :(!
