On the popular show 'Al Qahira Al Youm' the other day, both the host Amr Adib and actress Hanan Turk called for donations for the people of Gaza.
The lines were open on the show to receive needed medical donations such as Ambulance cars that are emergencies and blood transfusions.

As the show neared the end, it was announced that there has been a huge number of donations and people were generous in donating a huge sum of money to go to the needed supplies and medical aids.

On another level, the actors and artists gathered at their union headquarters and announced that they denounce all what Israel is doing and support the plight of the Palestinian people.
