LBC Star Academy 6, Not Until March!

lbc star academy 6

There's still lots of speculation about the upcoming season of Star Academy!
There's no solid news about the start date and that's put all Starac fans on their toes!
Well, the latest I've come across concerning the 6th season is that it won't be starting soon!
There are some complications and the season won't be starting until next March!

Updates after the jump

Does the departure of Rula Saad have anything to do with this delay? That's a question to look for the answer to!

Thanks to Jordaniansham for the tip!

    Heres a good idea:

Cancel the show and save mankind from this so-called 'talent show'.

lol ... good idea Masri ... but would be people do without such cheap tv shows that keep introducing zero talents new singers and also keep the mobile companies flourishing ;)!

People, we are not in a fight, okay..
People's ideas differ, you all know :)... so whoever wants to watch the show, it's their choice, whoever does not, it's their choice too.. just let's not argue over nothing..

Until next March? That sucks for sure!

I certainly don't think that it's because of Rola Saad's departure. We're lucky that we'll be watching it this year. Here in Canada, the super famous show Canadian Idol was cancelled for this year, because of the economic situation of the World + their budget wasn't enough for the production of the show. Just down South in the U.S. , there used to be a special week on American Idol - Idol Gives Back - that won't take place this year, because the companies that usually made the donations are heading towards bankruptcy.

So, the only thing that we can do right now is to wait and see (Hopefully ASAP)!!!

    i think 4 many reasons:
    1) the economic crisis no potential sponsors nor the people have plenty of money to vote.
    2) the failure of starac5 because of the fights between the key persons qwaider & dousary
3)madam rula left so they have to get a new approval form the station that has the original program.
4)the game became very clear to the people always there is a girl & a boy who r treated as if they were princess and prince, there are spoiled ones nobody like, they make others as heroes but they act with them unjustly so they gain the people sympathy and votes.
because of the above i think we reality TV fans will be lucky if ever starac6 is broad-casted

I am wondering if actually u r gtting ur info from LBCI? Did Rola saad really leave Staracademy and LBCI that 2 me does not make sense since she works on other programs other than Star Academy? Well if she did than who choose the students? Did the teatchers stay the same? Besides other websites such as panet and articales on waleg say that they have choosen the 20 students and they are almost ready 2 go soon so does any one have awnsers?

you have been fighting over nothing so far. the show will start when ever decideded to start and everyone will be voting for it.
well here is one thing that will keep you smiling and correct me if i'm wrong:
You know you are arabic when more than half of these apply to you. Please send me any new ideas.
You make Turkish coffee before leaving home, when getting to the office, after lunch, when having guests, before the guests leave, after the guests leave and before going to bed.
When shops have sale they call your mom.
You call an older person you've never met before "Ammo" or "Khaltu".
You hide everything from your parents, but they still think they know everything about you, and make you believe that they actually do.
People are never happy with what you've achieved. If you graduated from school they'll tell you "Oqbal el Shahadeh el kbeereh", and when u get that "Oqbal el Aroos or Areees", and when you get that "Oqbal ma nefrah be aoulad-kum", and when you get that "Oqbal ma tefrahu bi shahadit-hum", etc...
If you are a boy you start worrying about the Swiss Mukhabarat when you reach puberty.
Getting a visa to Europe or the States is like getting a baby, everybody tells you "mabrook"
You learn how to beg the personnel at the airport to allow the excess baggage you've got as soon as your father stops doing that for you.
You dream of holding a different passport.
When you FLY BACK home you find 20 people waiting for you at the airport.
Every time you fly back home you meet relatives you never knew existed, and they look nothing like your family.
You look for universities as far away from home as possible.
You always curse at Arabs when you are back home, but when you live abroad you mostly make arab friends.
When you come back from University you still have to live with your parents, and fight over curfew all over again, as if you never left them before.
Your relatives alone could populate a small city.
    Everyone is a family friend.
You fight over who pays the dinner bill.
You teach Westerners to swear words in your language.
When you go on a date you start thinking of lousy places where nobody would go to so you won’t bump into family or friends.
You end up in a lousy place and still bump into the relative with the biggest mouth.
You think you are liberated when you can't even smoke in public.
If you are 25 and not married yet, your parents make you feel that you are getting too old.
Getting married becomes the only way you can escape your parents.
You tell your friends how to rebel against their parents when you can't even stay out past midnight.
You always say, "Open the light" instead of "Turn the light on" or "get down from the car" instead of "get out of the car."
You pronounce your p's as b's (bebsi and bolice).
You ask your dad a simple question and he tells you a story of how he had to walk miles just to get to school.
Your parents were ranked first in school.
Your dad swears at you with words that affect him. (Ibnil kalb)
You tell everyone that you are a "successful businessman back home" when you are really just an unemployed goat herder.
You feel uncomfortable saying the word 'tease' in English.
You eat mensef with your bare hands.
You smoke as if there is no tomorrow and you only smoke MARLBORO REDS.
You only walk on the streets in groups of seven or more people and talk really really loud in arabic together.
You wear a black leather jacket, even when it is 100 degrees outside.
You think its cool to dance and smoke at the same time.
If you are an arabic girl you give the look of death to another arabic girl who looks better than you.
Your aunt is always asking when she can dance at your wedding.
When you share your problems with your relatives, their most likely response is: Allah Be Yefrejha.

No offense, but I find it very hard that you are getting your information from LBC. Roula Saad did not leave LBC so I have no idea where this rumor started and Star Academy will be starting in February (but for sure after January). The rumors make me laugh...it's just like when someone said Hilda would not be hosting the fifth season and then she did!

My best advice is don't believe anything from anyone unless it comes from the people at LBC themselves.

Your parents don't realize phone connections to foreign countries have improved in the last two decades, and still scream at the top of their lungs when making long distance calls.

Your friends tell you to be quiet when you are on the phone with your family because now you are screaming at the top of your lungs.
