New fads come and go and one day we are wearing tight jeans the next our denim is loose! But recently there has been a wave of Saggy Jeans wearers whose trousers hang nearer their ankles and whose underwear in on show! Whilst I am in no way a fan of these trousers (or the underwear display that comes with wearing them) I find the law imposed in Louisiana along with other states banning wearing them disturbing. In Louisiana wearing Saggy Jeans warrants 6 months imprisonment and a $500 fine!! What happened to the idea of freedom that the USA preached for oh so long? Now they are telling citizens what to wear and how to wear it?!
