Turkish actor, Bülent Inal, better known as Yahia from the Turkish series Sanawat Al Dayaa revealed that he doesn't want to speak Arabic in the upcoming series 'Ya Sadiqi'.
'Ya Sadiqi' is the first collaboration between Turkey and The Arab World in TV Series.
Inal, who arrived in Kuwait on Friday, to start working on the project, revealed in a press conference he held that he has refuses to speak Arabic (though he has no problem in learning the language) in the series and would like to speak in his native language, Turkish.
His argument is that the viewers have gotten to know him and liked him with his Turkish language and thus he doesn't want to change that!
Hmm ... as far as i know, Sanawat Al Dayaa was dubbed into Arabic? Wasn't it?
I've never seen Inal speaking Turkish and i don't think we would have gotten to know him or his Turkish colleagues, for that matter, if they had! No?

eeuuuhh.. So this actor comes to Kuwait, an Arabic speaking country... Arab audiences and film makers invite him there..
and then he does not intend on speaking Arabic?!?!
The Turks are nationalist, and should learn to adapt when they are invited to other cultural surroundings.. I do not say Arabs never are, but there are some Arab actors who ve made it in the US or France and OF COURSE they did not refuse to speak English or French. The Turks are just over the top with their raving nationalism, and I think he should be sent home if he has no feeling on whether his audience in Kuwait will understand him (not) when he s speaking Turkish.
It s plain rude and disrespectful.
Dear Dina, this is for you!
He apparently played in a commercial and spoke Arabic already in an ad shoot one week ago.
The alleged fact you based your strange claim is not even true.
Director Laila Kanan just finished filming a commercial for a famous furniture company where she worked with the famous Turkish actor Bulent Inal who is known as “Yahia” the leading star of the Turkish television drama series “Sanwat Al Dayaa” (The Lost Years). This is considered to be the first time for the Turkish actor to make an advertisement in the Arab world.laila
According to the London daily Elaph, Laila chose a high spot in Lebanon in order to film her commercial and the filming lasted for two days. She was surprised by Bulent’s acting talent and how he spoke Arabic fluently, even though he doesn’t understand it or knows what he is saying
