Queen Rania Wins YouTube Visionary Award

Queen Rania's channel on YouTube, which aims at communicating with the world and breaking stereotypes about Arabs and Muslims, has earned her YouTube's first Visionary Award!
The Visionary Award celebrates active users of YouTube who aim to use the service as an open platform for constructive dialog to highlight social and cultural issues and work for positive change in their communities and around the world.
This is exactly what Her Majesty has done with her YouTube videos and has indeed filled in some of that gap between the East and the West regarding such issues as women's roles in the Arab world.

Yesterday, in a 90-minute-event broadcast live on YouTube LIVE, Queen Rania was honored by YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.

What did Chad Hurley say about the Queen?
He said: "Queen Rania sets the standard for breaking down stereotypes and her YouTube videos are nothing short of inspirational. It is both a pleasure and an honor to present her with this much-deserved tribute."

What did Queen Rania say about YouTube in return?
She said: "YouTube encourages us to be active participants in a global conversation, making our voices heard, giving us the power to broadcast ourselves, increasing knowledge of each other, breaking down the barriers between us clip by clip."

Queen Rania also did something so cool and funny, she did her own Top Ten, David Letterman style, of why she started her own channel on YouTube.
You gotta watch it to know what I'm talking about. It's cool!

Congratulations Queen Rania! You're way cool!

what r u saying lebanonpride, no matter what is or was the nationality of a queen, the most important thing is the welfare of the country she is the queen of, and knowing how to rule wisely for the benefit of the country and the people.

Queen Rania has succeeded in her mission so she gained respect from the world and love from her people.

Half of King Abdullah's genome is British too. It's not a bid deal and I love how liberal they are.
