atlantis resort fire works

Last night was the opening ceremony of the Jumaira Palm Beach Atlantis Resort in Dubai and what an event it was!
It has been said that this super party will be the most expensive one yet, and it sure was!
In a time when the world is suffering from an economic crisis, this mega-bash cost a whopping $32 million! But who's counting!
Talking about fireworks alone, the spectacular show was bigger and badder than the one in Beijing for The Olympics, this one could be seen from space!
The A-listers that were at the event were no less than super stars, celebrities, VIP's, businessmen, millionaires and billionaires and royalty!
Here's an anecdote of those who where there, Kylie Minogue (who got paid $3 million for a one hour performance), Michael Jordan, Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra, Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta Jones.

The resort is one of the most luxurious and expensive in the world.
Some suites have furniture made of solid gold, just to say the least!
There's a huge aquarium in the resort and it contains about 65 thousand fish, ranging from ordinary Angel fish to exotic types and even sharks! That alone is ought to leave your mouth open for sometime!

God does not exist, and no one will ask them where they spent their money other than the IRS and their own accountants.

Is it cruel? Yes.

Is it their right? Absolutely.

WOW thats crazy only if they spent that 32 million on some poor countrys that really in need for it. Well but then only the rich will stay rich and the poor will only get poorer.

Problem is, you guys have no clue how money works. Even if those "rich" spent this money this way, the money will go to the fireworks engineers, to the factories that created these fireworks, to the janitors that will clean up after the show ends, to the food chefs that made the food etc.

Those people will in turn spend it on necessary stuff. Spending 36 million dollars is not the problem. The problem is with the rich people that hoard and leave their money rotting in banks. That is the true loss.
