What’s wrong with LBC TV?! First, a messed up season of star academy which despite several efforts to save it, turned out to be a flop!
The selection of the candidates was random and many of them lacked the minimum of moral standards! The final prime was a disaster!
Later on, the annual Starac summer tour was canceled…
Last month, the third season of Mission Fashion started, many of us were expecting to see better candidates than the previous season, but that sure didn’t happen! The candidate skills are poor and there are a lot better candidates in the Arab world whether models or designers… but LBC decided to choose poorly skilled candidates, and to make things even worse, they invited Jihane Khammas to be one of the models?! Remember how Rym AlGhazali joined Starac 3 after her sister participated in the second season! That wasn’t coincidence!
first of all i dont understand ur subject, and what s ur point in critisizing jihane. she is lke everybody there, she is a model before even joining staracademy. and everyone can have a second chance to realise his/her dream. and if u re refering that LBC didnt choose the right models , well there re many of them, starting from DIANA. and we have 3 different models that represent very good morocco. by the way, im sorry to tell u this but ur subject i found it very rude.

Last year it wasn't fair how Khaled and Yasmeen didn't win despite they were more qualified and talented than Michael but since he's Lebanese and so is Elie Saab they had to make him win while the others are like decorations to bring them more money from votes especially from Egypt and the Gulf. I have nothing against the Lebanese people, I respect them very much but I hate the LBC's discriminating policies because money and looks are more important than talent and good conduct
I watched the first and second prime of this mission fashion and then i lost interest, it was boring and i couldnt stand some of the girls ...
I guess waleg has a point, jihane can have a second chance but not on the same tv and from modeling to singing to modeling .. people are interested to watch such reality tv shows but we are not morons! lbc must respect its audience !

Arab designers are generally only good for creating diva/ tranny/ extravagant outfits (mostly dresses)...as well as wedding dresses. Couture is a rip-off concept. We are no good at making clothes for daily wear, for normal people attending normal events & certainly not good at all with mens fashion. We can't even make a pair of socks. Anyhow long like the kaftan.

although I'd have to say Staracademy is way way better than australian idol ...that show will make you snore!

I couldn't agree more about the Lebanese models issue .. where the heck did they find Diana ! shes weird looking with a weird body ! but i think they do it on purpose .. they bring low level Lebanese models, because the Lebanese designers are the best .. so they cant make both Lebanese designer and Lebanese model win at the same time in this show.
on the other hand i think maybe Sabrina will win this year from the models
and from the designers i really hope its either Jocelyne or Georges or Zeina.. in this order lol
I absolutly agree with what u said marwan. Michael's talent last year was way over exaggerrated to be real honest.
And to those who say there are many Lebanese women who are beautiful and so on - keep in mind! there are also so many naturally (underline this) beautiful women from every country, not only Lebanon.
Like Marwan I have nothing against Lebanon or Lebanese ppl. but some of you boast too much.

LBC IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST CHANNEL IN THE WORLD?? mission fashion is the best and star academy is even better... no one can beat the excellent primes and choreography of LBC ??? plz never say this because lbc is ACTUALLY GAINING more and more viewers everyday... so anyone who disses it better go and shut their selves up.

I like watching LBC programs but when i compare the first seasons of shows like star academy and mission fashion, i will vote for the first years, the students were much better and there was no fights like the ones on star ac 5
as for missionfashion, i think, lbc should give a chance to other persons from the +100 million youth in the arab world plus i think +32 million Moroccans aren't centered around jihane khmas and waiting for her to excel in one of the shows! onother Moroccan girl should have given a chance instead of jihane whom already have a chance in starac....
if lbc dont give attention to such issues, i wont be watching its shows anymore....
i already lost interest after watching the first 4 or 5 primes of starac 5 this year and im not that eager to watch mission fashion this year, mf 1 and mf 2 were better.

the worst with lbc policies is that she is hiring her to work for them on lbc fada2iya (maybe rumors?) after they "openly kicked her out on air" from the academy in the final days because of her bitchy unexeptable behavior. Quoting Hilda :" mirhan fiya tkamel tshage3 Nader...barra!"

GUYS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY wrong ?? if people didn't like star ac and mission fashion, then why r they making them again and again each year ?? we r up to the 6th season in star ac ??? that just means u ppl are wrong.. Hanadi ur a TOTALLY wrong.. every year, LBC IS GETTING better and even better at everything... star ac 6 is soon and if ppl arround the world didnt want it, it wouldnt have continued. Thank you.
Star Academy 5 as you said was a mess but the main problem was with the candidates, half of them sounded horrible, but needless to say LBC is behind the money after all, the same goes with any successful reality tv programme, they just keep on doing more seasons just for the cash, otherwise, why should they go on with it, and also they have to entertain their audience so they add some fake relationships in the show between any boy and girl, thus adding a bit of romance and drama to the show and as the relationship develops through the months or weeks, they are determined to focus on it in the dailies, as the girls are touched with the fake love story and begin to fall in love with the fake couple, so results in more voting to their beloved couple, and further gaining of money by the LBC. Second, I am not exactly sure about what you said about the final prime, ''a disaster'' , frankly, I enjoyed watching it but I don't know why you didn't like it. But I love Star Academy, regardless of what happens behind the camera that we don't see. I think it is the best tv programme that has ever been made!
Finally, I want to know when will Star Ac 6 start ?

mirhan lacks moral standards, it's so funny how you are obsesed with mirhan, get over it man, it's almost 6th months now :), I also want to say that LBC is not all bad, I mean that I actually enjoy mission fashion, and I don't think they are biased to labanese (remember moh. atteya was starac1), M F's candidates are not that bad either, like there are mervat palestine whose exteremely talented, and moh. egypt whome i love all his designes, and of course khawla who has a beautiful smile.. so get over the post that you repeat about all the subject like mirhan is fake, or nader is not talented or mission fashion sucks,, even if these claims are true, we read them million times uptil now and we got ur point so thanks,, didn't mean to offend anyone one or to spread hate, I actaully enjoy reading everyone's opian as long that they don't restate it over n' over.. reply back

i like reality shows, u r not supposed to like the show from the beginning ,but slowly u find yourself attached in it specially when u find some person -even the teachers themselves -u like, for myself i like staracademy more than mf, i dont consider starac5 a failure because for everyone who was engaged in the show there are huge no of fans , this is valid 4 mf, i like mohd m ,zakia,nawal and abdalla
sorry i forgot to mention jocyline she is the best of the best, good luck to her, i hope she will win although she was a nominee once before
