Rumors were circulating that Haifa Wehbe tried to pay a bribe to win this years World Music Awards!
According to claims by Executive producer of WMA 2007 Melissa Corken, Haifa tried to pay her a whopping sum of $400.000 to change the winner of this year's WMA Best Selling Artist in The Middle East, which was Nancy Ajram.
Haifa denied this accusation and defended herself by saying that she has in no way contacted Corken, especially that she doesn't know her and has no way of contacting her!
She also said that Corken shouldn't be personally dealing with singers, but with their managing companies only.
Corken will be legally contacted by Haifa's people and will have to make a public apology to Haifa for these false accusations!
Haifa also revealed that it doesn't honor her to buy an award because she cares about the love of her fans more than being the best selling artist in the Middle East!

she is always trying to compete like when she showed up to Madline Matar screening to take the attention off her. Haifa is jealous when another female is getting more attention than her.
she knows she isn going to win the award by selling the most so she is willing to buy it. just as long as she has the world music award winning title to her name.

because when elissa won it, she was one of the few to say that "unlike her, i dont buy my awards"
or something like that.

actually, she didn't .. I listend to the radio broadcast that she came on and she proved that she didn't do it and why would she, do you know what she could do with that much money. While, she was on the radio, she said that she tracked and phoned Melissa and asked her do you know me, melissa said I don't and haifa said then why are you saying or spreading this bad rumor about me what did I ever do to you. In addition, Melissa apologized and said that if haifa need she would publicly apologize to haifa. Haifa didn't just accused melissa but the creator of Al Jaraz I don't remember her name.. and you now that that woman spreads many lies and she was going to prison for spreading a rumor on Najwa karam and she took her to court but she got away..In my point of view, I really feel bad for haifa, she maybe a provocative preformer but she is still a nice person doing all kind of charities to help people out..which most singers don't do. I just don't get it why people spread false rumors for..haifa should take a legal action against both women and hopfully she will.. I am not really a crazy fan of haifa but I want to defen her like I defen many artrist who has done nothing wrong.. And I really think Nancy deserved to win the award her album was great..

did you guys not hear the interview on elaph of Haifa screaming and shouting at these people? Everyone needs to back off for a little, say some good thing about her for once.. its obvious she didnt do it and shes suing Melissa... She even talked to her on the phone and Melissa wants to make a public appology but haifa doesn't care she's suing her and she was swearing at Nidal Ahmadiyeh for writing this and telling Melissa to say this false statement also that Nidal is always after her trying to make her life a living hell... tracking her emails and messages and phone calls.. She was really screaming and shouting on that interview on sawt el ghad.. 7aram.. wallah
1st for sure she didnt for 2 reasons 1: as michelle said that she said many times b4 that this award is sold so definitly she wont be trying to get it 2. that she challenged the woman of WMA to prove what she said and to show any proofs to her claims so f the WMA had anything on Haifa she would have published t already plus f haifa knew that WMA women had anything on her simply she wouldnt sue her coz in the court everything wil be revealed o by the way haifa has already filed a case in the court to legaly get even from this woman and the others behind her o as for how that woman said that rumor about her though she didnt know her COMMON guys im not a number 1 fan of haifa but weather i like it or not she is one of the top famous arab singers so normally the woman of WMA knows haifa at least as a name but nothing more

i just heard her call with sowt elghad radio i use to not like her but after that i think she z much more than a pretty face she is a lovely very natural person who is too honest and human her reaction was so real unlike all the show business people .Go haifa you rock keep up like this and we,re are proud that ur one of us the lebanese people so dont worry about the bullshit of aljaras and those nasty people
