Yesterday night i was zapping through the hundreds of Satellite channels on TV and came across a song on one of the Arabic Music channels that caught my attention.
The song made me stop changing the channel becasue it sounded to me like another one of those standard Arabic, Yuri Marqadi songs! Yet, it wasn't Yuri singing! The song is entitled 'Laki Qalbi'. Watch the music video here.
After a couple of minutes, the credits rolled and the name 'Douzi' came up!
Cheb Douzi is a Moroccan singer, who is currently living in Belgium, and seems to be popular in Morocco and France!
He was born in 1970 and started showing interest in music from an early age.
He's got a few songs that have made it big on Rai radio stations in Morocco and France and is considered the only Rai singer that sings in French, Arabic, English, Turkish, Spanish and Indian!
He's got 4 albums out; Mani Zaafan, Sultana, A Moi La Vie and his latest %100 Douzi.
Cheb Douzi is also a familiar face on TV because he's been featured in Moroccan TV commercials for Coca Cola and Maggie!

im not easily impressed with artists n the music thats around nowadays but u gotta love Cheb Douzi's style & you can NOT compare him 2 Yuri, i came across this song on youtube afew months back and after listening 2it i was HOOKED. Cheb Douzi fan 110% - LOVEEEE IT!!
