We're following up the story of George Wassouf and his being arrested in Sweden for possession of Cocaine.
As you may have already heard, Wassouf got released from jail and has arrived yesterday in Beirut, where hoards of journalists and fans were at his welcome at the airport.
So, what does Wassouf say about this incident?
Wassouf tells the media that he is innocent and must have been framed.
He suspects who ever did this, wanted to stop the Stockholm concert from happening (which it did).
He also said that the Syrian ambassador stood by him in this ordeal and helped in releasing him.

As for his legal situation, he says that the case has been dropped and that explains his being in Beirut!
But the Swedish police revealed that, though they've allowed Wassouf's return to Lebanon, they're still looking into the case and whether they'll keep the charges or not!
