Some series cause controversies and journalists write harsh words about how the quality is terrible or the material is inaccurate. And then there was the TV series Asmahan. People were unhappy about how the family was portrayed in a horrible manner and how the script was messed with but then when the cast was on the Lebanese TV show ‘Al Esboo Fi Saa’ in Lebanon they actually got shot at! Apparently a car went up to the castle where the episode was being shot and attempted to aggravate the cast by shooting at them.
The host actually had to ask for the police’s protection on live television!
Whilst I personally was not too keen on the show and how they made Asmahan seem like such a bad person but nothing justifies shooting at people who were merely doing their jobs! The Lebanese armed forces allegedly rushed to the scene to make sure that the cast was OK and to make sure that there wasn’t a full attack being launched on the castle!

No Asmahan was not like they portraid her in the series, these are all lies, they wanted to make a series to make money so they thought let's make Asmahan's life it brings viewers, but they didn't have historical written facts on how Asmahan was only some nasty jealous headlines from old egyptian newspapers (egyptians got jeoulous from asmahan coz she was A PRINCESS, beautiful, extra ordinary talented with marvellous voice so they fabricated rumors and nasty news about her in newspapers like they always do with everybody. No wonder why the director is tunisian, if he was Syrian he would never ever made the series this way because they know well about how marvellous Asmahan was. this asmahan series is a total failure what ever haters say. Know that no one will ever believe the tunisian director in any of what he will make as movies or series or whaterver.

I wouldn't correct u under normal circumstances mr/ miss/ ms/ mrs second poster but what u said is just plain amusing. Maybe u too should practice as u preach & try thinking before you write/ speak next time, aka universal advice.
