bab al7ara 1 + 2 is the best
Bad...mainly because 90% of the plot line was people getting married or divorced, or someone who was once divorced and now wants to get married again...blah blah blah
Bab El Hara 3 had no substance or solid plotline to hold the series together....and Abbas El Nouri is not the only fault that 3 was not as good as the others, which I thought were good but nothing spectacular...
What are you guys talking about?Bab al harra was not made famous because of one person "Abbas el Nouri" it was so popular because of the close ties harat el thabe3 had on each other, cared for another. It gave us an insight to how the people honored each other and would die to protect all arabs...Bab al harra was yet again a success, and if you don't believe that then that's your loss..
By the way..I would like to point out that I meant to say Abbas El Nouri is NOT the only fault that Bab El Hara 3 was not as succesful in terms of drama as the other two.
Bab El Hara 3 was much poorly written and again there was no substance to the story.
ok it wasnt as dramatic as season 1 and 2, but it was still excellent and i loved every bit of it!!! i was annoyed at first because they change several characters, but actually the new actors did a great job and didnt make it look odd. it was a shame though that they had to get rid of abbas alnouri.
bab al hara is much more than a normal syrian drama, it has many morals and values behind it and we can learn a lot from it.
the ending was superb and im really looking forward to part 4!!! :D
:):)i agree w/ u susu. it was ok. the ending was really good (when they fought the French was good). it was a bit dramatic this season & one and 2 were better. but i still lov bab el hara and think its a great series. i cant wait 4 the fourth (i hope):):)
i did not really like bab el-7ara 3 it didn't have a plot but no one can say anything about the last episode it was really nice especially the last part, by the way they said there's bab el-7ara 4 and abu shhaab isn't going to act in it.
after reading ur coments even though bab el-7ara 3 didn't have a plot and wasn't well written, u can't say that it sucks and that it's bad there is another side to the whole thing. it brings back things that wemight have forgotten about, and as susu said it teaches us alot of different morals. and sometimes u can't resist some scenes. in every serie there is good and bad or not soo good. u can't say that it was all boring or that it was all as interesting as the other parts.

i agree with most of u , it was boring at the begining, the last episode was grt, i could watch but i was switching the channel back & forth another show.

I don't agree with you at all I really liked this seson of bab el hara it was a lot of suspense even if abu isam wasn't there it's still was a very nice show.. But what did you say ...abu shab don't gonne be on bab el hara 4 ? I think that would totaly destroy the show..
nizar al hajar was at my place ,i own bab alhara cafe and he is in michigan now, he did say there will be bab alhara 4 and he will get married on bab alhara 4,i'm not making this up he really told me,nizar al hajar is abu ghalab.

i think so sa7oor. because they didn't finish anything. abu hatam's child (boy or girl) and abu galeb has 2 get married and muatez, too. also wasn't Issam's and Abu Shahab' wives pregnant and poor jamila. and booran and dalal. but i think abu galeb is gonna get married (maybe ferial) and dont forget abu hatam's daughters,too (i hope he gets a boy, he already has a lot of girls) also the chebab need 2 get married. and abu nar and abu al-arab didn't show up in the end 2 thank them. so im guessing there will be another beacuse all those stories need 2 be finished and i cant wait 4 the fourth and i hope they dont lose any more actors (abu shahab):):):)
Samer El Masri has already said that if a 4th part was ever produced, he won't accept his role, mainly because he thinks they are now looking at making money and not presenting good solid drama, which I think is in fact true.
As I read Tami's comments, my point has been proved, the show has been turned into an episode of 'The Bachelor'
He wants to marry her, and she wants to marry him...conflicts arise about the marriage....they are solved, and in the end they get married; typical drama storylines, nothing new.
Hopefully Bassam El Moulla looks back at what made the show so succesful and get back to that; right now the show is turning from a landmark series, to a money making machine which shouldn't happen if they want to keep the show at it's current status.
I think the show survived a 3 poor season and was passed on as 'not good as the first 2, but good enough for me' but I don't think the show can survive another season, which I think will be even poorer than this, if it was ever produced.

so samer isn't gonna be in the 4th. wats up with that. why ? i like bab el hara and im sure a lot of others like it. i look forward to it every ramadan. it is great. but if he leaves i dunno wat gonna happen. that's just sad. let's hope he changes his mind.
i love it and i heard that there is going to be a bab al hara 4 i can't wait for Ramadan to come and bring happines and joy with it

I think part 3 dragged for a while. It did not have a plot for a while. But that's what happens when you overdo something. I think the producers and directors capitalized on the success of the show and honestly became greedy. I mean like the saying goes "Il Za'id akho al nakis" and it's too much. And it's proof when someone like Samer Al Masri does not want to come back to the role.
In any series, if they sucessed in the first 2 seasons the 3rd one is never good, it becomes boring, bring me something new.
No series should last more than 2 seasons.
bab al hara 3 was nice. i liked it a lot. i am a total fan of abu shehab, motez, and abu hatem. it's too bad that abu shehab will not be in it. he is by far my favorite actor in the show. i luv bab al hara series. i hope samer al masri changes his mind.
