Opinions will undoubtedly vary about the quality of Ramadan series this year, but I honestly think that there is not one good series that I have come across worth following! Apparently Egyptian critics agree at least about Yehya El Fakharani’s series ‘Sharaf Fatah Al Bab’ which they have described as mediocre.
Whilst the series really does confront a serious political issue, it does so in a superficial and predictable manner.
In addition the series has been criticized for being too focused on one character as opposed to exploring how one problem can affect such a large portion of the population.
One critic says the show is so predictable you can tell what it is all about from the title which translates to ‘honorable opened the door’- which implies it is about an honorable citizen who opens the door to corruption!
Have you seen ‘Sharaf Fatah Al Bab’? Do you think it is as good as ‘Yetraba Fe Ezo’?

The critics....oh damn, who listens to those guys anymore?
Personally this is one of the best series this year and confronts a very important problem in our society..
And by the way, this is one of the most watched series this year, and most of the people are loving it...
The critics aren't always correct...they are actually usaully always on the negative side of series.
I agree with you Masri, these critics most of the time write negative reviews .. for example, i liked asmahan series this year but i read a critic on the newspaper that didnt even mention one good thing about the series or its actors!!!
Unfortantely, i didnt see any of sharaf fatah albab series ... im only watching abu jafar this year which i believe its just fantastic.
i can see more stupidity in dat series ...it's not dat bad but it's very good i mean it's moderate n ordinary.....
It's a little boring, it's slow not much of an activity in there.

Yetraba fe 3ezo was just stupid and pointless..At least this series can teach some lessons...
