For a while Turkish dramas- especially Noor- took over the homes of many Arabs and Muhannad won the hearts of many Arab women. But now there is an interesting debate about whether the return of Bab El Hara in its third season has managed to put a stop to the crawling of Turkish dramas into Arab countries!
Did Abu Shehab take over from Muhannad as the man children respect and women adore? Perhaps! Some have argued that Turkish drama was merely the way Arabs were going to cope without their dose of things like Bab El Hara.
What do you think: has ‘Bab El Hara made people forget about shows like Noor?

Muhannad is nuttin I dont even think they guy is cute. He jst has the body of a model and thats wut makes women like him dat much but for me i think yahya and lamees won more peoples heart than noor did. OOO and yea this guy in bab al 7ara is much bettttttttttttaaaa than muhannad in soo many ways.

no wayyy!!!! bab al hara didnt kill turkish drama at all... first of all you cant compare noor/sanawat al daya3 and bab al hara theyre completely different....
bab al hara was good yes but you cant go and say that noor can be forgotten because of the 3rd season of bab al hara..
noor is a more modern drama that tackles contemporary issues, tahts how theyre completely different with the arab dramas cos the latter always repeats itself,,, the same issues same prob are always present again & again, just look at all the arab production movies/series/...
no offence to anyone but the turkish drama offered us something fresh, enticing, interesting, that kept us asking for more.. we were all in front of our tv 3al mbc 4/mbc+ when noor /sanawat al daya3 would start....
to karim the characters of abu shehab and mohannad are again completely different. you just cant compare them it wouldnt make any sense!
I personally didn't like Bab El Hara this year.. it's not as attractive as the first 2 seasons...
I miss Noor a lot! And rumor has it that MBC will air it again after Ramadan and I can't wait :)

bab el 7ara is much better than noor and it did kill turkish drama.what is noor its nuthin compare to bab el 7ara.i'm not sayin dat its not nice, i used to watch it everyday but not like bab el 7ara. bab el 7ara is much more interesting. noor just has the same problem and its sooooooooo long man, far out its 154 episodes. if u put all the episodes together they can be cut to 60 episodes max.
BAB EL 7ARA is the best. I HOPE there's part 4 coz i'm used to watchin it in ramadan and i cant imagine ramadan without bab el 7ara.
bab il 7araaa killed the turkish series for sure!!! i loved it this year and the ending was realllyyy goodd. hope that they'll have bab il 7ara 4:D
