Everybody knows that if you are going to have Haifa in your movie, then your budget better be big! She is beautiful and known better as a singer so she is not obliged to take the part unlike many actresses. So I guess this is why she asked for –and received- $1,300,000 for being in the movie ‘Dukan Shehata’. This is equivalent to 7 million EP, which is higher than any amount paid to a star in Egypt before! But if you ask me it will be money well spent, simply because everyone will want to go see the movie that Haifa is starring in regardless of substance.
For the time being we will know very little about the movie, but Haifa did disclose that her character is completely different from her and that she is a traditional country girl that is very much distant from the world of glamour. Should be interesting to see Haifa in a new light, maybe we will actually see some real acting on her part.

i think there is a wrong info in this article that adel imam, mohamed saad,, ahmed 7elmi .. etc. they receive more than 12 million ep!
so i dnt think haifa i highest than any amount paid tp star in egypt
sorry waleg, but $300,000 is not equivalent to 7 million egyptian pounds. One dollar is equivalent to 5.41 Egyptian pounds. Please re-check the information.
