You can expect there to be quite a bit of hubbub when someone like Adel Imam is in public! So when he walked to the Egyptian Opera House with the crowd to go receive his award, people were not surprised by the fact that people crowded around him and his sons who were accompanying him. Following this Adel Imam received his award and was congratulated and applauded but nothing could prepare him for what was about to happen.

He left the Opera House only to be surrounded by loving fans once again but then a woman attacked him! It wasn’t even a ‘pleasant attack’ in the sense that she was trying to physically hit him and was insulting him as opposed to giving him a hug! The woman who even kicked a police officer when he tried to calm her down was removed from the corridors only to come back and attack and insult the festival and its organizers.

The woman does sound crazy, but I wonder if there is a reason behind her attack?
