The site contains a magnificent 111 monumental tombs, 94 of which are decorated, and water wells and gives us an outstanding insight into Nabataeans society! The historical items in these tombs date back to the 1st Century BC! This is a significant political step as UNESCO aims to promote the idea of peace into the minds of mankind and its co-operation with an Arab country is a milestone!
