Let me start of by saying that I am one of Shereen’s biggest fans, but after listening to her latest 'sorry excuse for an album', I started to wonder if her baby pretty much ended her career. For those of you who didn’t buy ‘Batamenak’ let me tell you that it basically consists of 3 or 4 new songs and the rest of the CD has been filled with remixes of her old songs like ‘Mesh Betat El Kalam Da’. In addition to this the entire album has a very ‘sad’ theme as opposed to Shereen’s old albums where we saw a mix of boisterous energetic music and solemn songs.
I guess the fact that she got pregnant meant she could spend less time choosing her songs and recording, but if that was the case then perhaps no album would have been better than this disappointment.
So should artists not have children until they are ready to end their careers? Don’t get me wrong children are a beautiful gift from God, but becoming an artist -especially a singer- means that you belong to your fans and listeners and you do what you can to keep them happy!

My answer is Noooo...these artists should have kids...y3ny honestly waleg...when an artist starts to think about leaving there job...there like 900 years old :P la2 but seriously they'll be old...and having kids has nothing to do with you being constant in your job...masalan...many actors gave birth...did it stop them from acting...no...they were able to make a wall between singing/acting and there life...and like sherine said...this was her first time getting a child...and many mothers when its there first child...they get excited && are always caring for it...in addition...sherine also said on a phone call in "EL BEIT BETAK" that she knows this album was nothing in comparison with her others...but she only did this one so people dont think that she's gone from the media for a long time...y3ny a temporarily album until she returns back...w besaraha...talama el motreb 3aref eh elli 3leh w montazar eh f hayato...yba2 mafesh mashakel...el ensan lama y3raf hwa 3wez eh w eh hadafo fel hayah...hy3mel ay 7aga 3shan yewsal el e7sas da lel nas...w ana shayfa in album sherine makansh batal...kan fi aghani to7fa w laziz...w y3ny...el ensan 7or f hayatoooo...y3ny hnedakhel f 7ayat el ban2dam kaman..ALLAH :P :P Ahhh sa7e7...kman 7aga...sherine's album actually sold && made alot && recieved 10/10 stars when ranked fa mabrouuuukkkk!!!

1st of all, this past album is not Sherine's NEW album. Its a singles album ..that is not new, we heard them all on the internet!!!!!
her ACTUAL album will be realeased in december!
the past album was just her first co-op with Rotana and she decided to relase those songs in CD quality after they had been leaked on the internet!!
Secondly.... whats up with "they shouldnt have babies untill they are ready to end their career!!!!!! " not because sherine is a singer she should just put aside her personal life(or her dream of being a mother) just so she can please her fans!!!!!!! we DO NOT own her !!! she makes good music we listen to it and we love it (or dont lol)!!!!
Please ease up and gie her sometime to relax after her pregnancy and inshallah u will be pleased with her upcoming album!
