Best Female Singer: Elissa!

Elissa in Dubai

The Middle East Panel of Music in Cairo recently awarded Elissa with the prestigious award that crowned her the ‘Best Female Singer’. Obviously there have been mixed feeling about this award, simply because Elissa beat artists like Shereen and Nancy Ajram! But no one can question the credibility of this award simply because the decision was made based on an online poll along with the votes of the professional panelists.

Elissa received the award in Rotana’s new office in Dubai and she thanked all the panelists and fans who voted for her. To be honest I think she deserves it simply because she has had an excellent musical year. Her album was original and every song was well received whilst someone like Shereen made a satisfactory album full of ‘remix songs’! Well done Elissa!

ya i doubt its true about her saying bad stuff about syria because she is half syrian.

i think she deserves the award. she has a lovely voice, and her new music video is great.

The best female singer is Majida Al-Roumi. Elisa signifies the trash of the singing society that has filled the arab world.
