randy pausch

I just heard the news ... Professor Randy Pausch passed away yesterday at his home in Virginia at the young age of 47.
You might have never heard of him, but with no doubt, he was a brave and courageous man.
Randy Pausch was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August 2006 and from that moment he set on a quest to change the way his children and everyone else went through life.
He's famous for a project he worked on called 'The Last Lecture'.
The Last Lecture is a celebration of life. It's his way of contributing to the world: He knew it was his last chance and he took it to give a wake-up call to the rest of the world.

You might have seen him on The Oprah Show back in October 2007. He gave The Last Lecture and it's certainly a lecture worth hearing and learning from.
Pausch is truly a role model to look up to ... The world would be a better place if there were more people like him.
May he rest in peace.

It would be wonderflu if our politicians, religious people and people in charge would actually listen to his lectures and understand what life is all about !

Although this great figure lived a short life , yet we can write down a long list of achievemnets that he had accomplished. thus , it is not important how long people live, but what is important how they have percieved the impotance of their lives to others and to their community!!!!!!!!!!

Let' s do as he did and earn the appreciation and respect of others by being worthy of living .

May he rest in peace !

I heard about him a lot. My brother was actually one of his students and he was in the class where he gave his "last lecture". According to my brother, it was very heart-warming and insightful and deffinetly one of the best lectures given in history. I am saddened by the new of his passing away and i give all my condolences to his family and friends.
