In a final prime, which hosted all Super Star 5 finalists, Elie Bitar from Lebanon won the title of Super Star 2008 by majority of audience votes.

Elie Bitar should not have won Super Star. There was a conspiracy from the beginning, which many of the contestants hinted at but could not out right confirm because of their contracts. People like Ziyad and a biased production team has made it possible for an unremarkable talent like Elie to win by playing with the votes. In my opinion, Super Star has become a ridiculous game of "how much can we screw with the non-lebanese." instead of furthering unity between the arabs and fostering fair competition, this show has decided to push it's own political agenda and crown "Super Star" whoever it deems fit. so NO, not "alf mabrouk elie u lubnan." it should be more like "7asbiyallah wa ne3mal wakeel".

Yes every year the judges favors someone but noone complians and i swear i am not lebanese but we cant say they are races bcz lebanese made it to the final..its the first year they ever made it and every year there are lebanese contestants and zeyad never did anything..he justs lseems to like elies voice maybe he likes this kind of voices and elias used to the do the same exact thing with shahad but none said anything...he even went up to the stage once and kissed her after she finished singing and even when she did mistakes he used to change the subject and not tell her her mistakes. why did none complain about elias? isnt he a judge too and should not show who he likes?..if elie was not lebanese none could have said anything...
the thing that i didnt like about zeyad is being sometimes rude with murad with no reasons..but with abdelmajeed he almost always said the truth but abdelmajeed wouldnt accept it..and honestly i dont know how he made it to the final if u go read every where everyone talk either about elie or murad and none mentioned abdelmajeed like them

1000 mabrouk to eli, i have voted for him once, and it was before the final show, i like murad but i felt that eli is more complete than murad, murad has a good voice but only with certain songs. i did not like aboud, but i likeed aydrous and i think 3aydrous should had been one of the finalis, i like the moracan lady too she has a great voice but she need to lose smoe weight and attitude.
