Just sitting at home zapping through the channels, I happen to come across a Shaikh on TV who's outraged about the recent flock of women getting divorced because of the on TV relationship between Noor and Mohannad in the Turkish series Noor.
Honestly I'm outraged as well. There is nothing wrong with a woman having standards on how she feels she should be treated, or liking the idea of her husband surprising her and giving her gifts, but things must stay realistic. If every woman waited for a man to cater to her every need, buying her flowers, or even pricey surprises, well sorry to say but the closest you will ever get to the that is luck!
I'm not trying to say that a woman shouldn't expect gifts or sweet surprises from her husband or fiance, but what I am saying is that a woman should have realistic expectations from love, just the way a man should have realistic expectations from a woman.
By nature many men are not very good at expressing their emotions, and some are -especially at first when they want a girl- really romantic then they get too comfortable -the honeymoon stage-.
Don't get me wrong, Mohannad is HOT ! I love the series, but I would not want to model my life after this fantasy!
So for those of you who have your head in the clouds, get over it! Mohannad is only acting!

Interesting in the other article the women are blamed, maybe they realised their husbands could be treating them a whole lot better.
really? i call BS. no one gets a divorce because of a tv show, that sheikh obviously just has a problem with the series and is making up a reason to complain. the rumor that men divorce their wives and blame it on haifa wehbe's beauty is more realistic. also, mohannad isn't that great of a husband, so if a woman really is divorcing her husband after seeing the show, her husband was probably awful and she should have divorced him before!
Oh my God it is unbeliveabal , i think those men who did divorce thier wives because of the show are gay and losers . i just wanna see an arabic man seeing a pretty girl on tv see what he does he opens his mouth like a pig and his eyes wont move so to all these men grow up we love mohaned he is handsom wether you like it or not ,and by the way i am arabic girl and i live in America
I cannot for the life of me understand the hype surrounding him and his looks. I have to feel sorry for these women that idealize him, are they so starved of affection and a decent looking partner?... In a way I am beginning to feel sorry for the men that divorce their wives because of him, the poor male ego is a very fragile thing and so easy to crush...
