Like many stars Ragheb Alama has begun his series of summer concerts and the first of them was in Syria! It was an outstanding concert –as always- and the audience was responsive as they listened to some of Ragheb’s best songs. Perhaps fortunately for Ragheb, Syria is known for having some of the most beautiful women in the Arab world and funnily enough the crowd at his concert was predominantly female!

Some of the beautiful women cheered and screamed when they saw their favourite star, and as expected others flooded the place with tears. They sang with him and they danced for him and no wonder he looked like he was enjoying this concert so much. Ragheb has always been a popular star but does the fact that his fan base is female is more a tribute to his looks and the words of his love songs –which he doesn’t write- than to his voice?
