Rosarita Tawil is Miss Lebanon 2008
Last night was a special night for a young Lebanese girl ... she was crowned Miss Lebanon 2008.
20-year-old Rosarita Tawil has competed with 18 beauties from around Lebanon for a title, the title of the most beautiful girl in Lebanon!
Rosarita was crowned by former Miss Lebanon, Nadine Njeim after a night of parading around a huge stage and answering some critical questions.
Rosarita, who is a Leo, is a student of Business Administration in AUB and her hobbies include swimming, reading and traveling.
She wishes to represent her country in the most honorable way through winning this prestigious title.

i don't get it why are some of you comparing her with south american beauty? she is gorgeous in my opinion compared to the other contestants. It has been years since we last saw a "beautiful" lady crowned until we lost faith in this competition and the fraudulant successive juries. Yes she deserves it, she is adorable and I wish her luck from all of my heart.

She is beautiful, I live in Brazil and I have seen the girls here the only pretty ones are the ones of Lebanese origin. Lebanese girls are def. the most beautiful. As for the show there are prettier Lebanese girls, but Rosa is beautiful.

lebanese girls are the pretties in the whole world and if you ask anyone they will tell you that. and plz unless u are prettier then her dont say anything. and dont say shes standard and nothing is outstanding about her. she was the prettiest one there and she one. now if you think ur better go ahead and go for the program. and we will see. but in my opinion she was the prettiest one available from the 6 finals and she deserved it. good luck rosa!!

The only reason she won is because she was the only one to understand the final question and actually give an example of a mistake she made in her life.
The other 5 were so freaking dumb, none of them understood the question and just kept going on like retards with an IQ of a monkey about how they would keep going on despite making a mistake.
Never the less, she is good looking. But I think Syrian babes are hotter than Lebanese babes, and I am not even Syrian.
Also Iranian gals are up there.

Finally a deserving Miss Lebanon
I saw her live a week before the election and she is absolutely stunning. The TV does not give her justice.
Her very long legs, latino features, shapely body and wit made her the absolute favourite of this competition.
I think she will shine in international pageants.

Nana get real she is a beauty queen of course she will judged by everyone. She is pretty but nothing about her stands out. Miss Turkey who won a few years back was truely beautiful. Miss Lebanon will probably not win not sure why certain posters are getting upset its not as if you know her.

Sorry to say this but after watching the competition the only name i can think of is Miss Stupid & Dump.
All the girls were so stupid, so ignorant, their answers were equal to a 5 year old kids answers, they had fake smiles, and to the people who says the labeneese girls are the most beautiful well yes but after 10 plastic surgeries every woman in the world will be very pretty, when i think of lebaneses girls i think of brainless, plastic girls.

what do you mean? i thought rosarita was 100% lebanese? is she part latina? anyways how she won is this: WASTA. its so funny when some of her supporters say that they knew she would win from day 1. habibi everyone knew she would win before the pageant even started because of wasta. i have friends in both lebanese fashion and in lbc, and all of them told me she would be the one who'd win, not because she is more beautiful, but she has the right connections. you can even tell she knew she was going to win, she was not genuinely surprised. poor michella and abir and especially dolly, they all deserved better. they thought it was going to be fair!!!!!!

You people are so lame. This girl is gorgeous and adorably cute and trust me im a fussy person. I used to think Ashwariya was gorgeous but she doesnt even compare to Rosarita. People knew she was gna win coz she a glamour. Plus she was the only one who answer the inal question properly, i couldnt think of a more appropriate answer to the question...AND for her to say on international tv that shes gone through such a situation shows that shes a humble girl. I think shes the complete package and that she will definetly be very successful in the world pageant.

hey evryone! so i was reading all those comments and nothing sounded more ridiculous than the one implying that Rosarita doesn't deserve it because she's half hispanic half lebanese! assuming thats true, so what?! huh??!!! whats gonna happen??first i personally thought she is pretty but that Dolly is much prettier, but the fact that she's mixed and not purely lebanese, makes her more interesting and im not talking about her beauty. im lebanese living in the US, and people here appreciate the people who are a combination of two culture, of two traditions, of a wider knowledge. this is why people here from any origin can apply to presidency (remember the lebanese guy who ran for the US presidency ?) She's PERFECT!! I was stunned when I 1st saw her body; usually I take time to decide which Lebanese contestant has a beautiful body, in her case I loved how her body looks and the way she walks from the 1st time she stepped on podium.
One of the rare natural face and body beauties these days: simple, elegant, and sexy at the same time. Lets not forget how smart with gracious attitude her answers were.
I believe she'll appear between the international contestants in the near future beauty competitions.
(Between, Dolly Ayash was misjudged but she doesn't deserve to be Miss Lebanon either).
