After a whirlwind of rumors surrounding the new musical event 'Jordan Festival', Elissa and George Wassouf kicked off the first night of the festival the day before yesterday.

The first of the concerts was held in the historic city of Jerash and saw a huge turn out. Tickets to the concert, which joined Elissa, George Wassouf and Omar Al Abdallat, were sold out!

At the same time those Arab stars were entertaining their fans in Jerash, Diana Krall was at the Amman Citadel amazed the attendance with her singing and Piano playing!
Diana, who is a Canadian-born singer/pianist, entertained the attendance on top of one of Amman's seven mountains with her own interpretations of Jazz, Bop and Swing.

As for Thursday night, It was back to the ancient Jerash theaters for an Algerian night!
Jerash was alive with the music of Cheb Khaled, Faudel and Biyouna, in addition to The National Barbes Orchestra, which is a group of musicians from Algeria, Morocco, Mali and Senegal.
