A lucky girl will be wearing a crown and the title of Miss Lebanon 2008 next Friday!
Who will this beauty be?
Last Friday in the gardens of LBC, 18 beauties from around Lebanon went through a series of tests and questions to qualify for the finals of Miss Lebanon 2008.
The event, which was hosted by Toni Baroud, was graced by the attendance of one of Lebanon's most famous stars, Haifa Wehbe! She performed some of her newest singles from her latest album 'Habibi Ana'.
The girls on the other hand, were under lots of stress, for only 12 of them were going to qualify for the finals.

The girls, who wore stunning gowns by Mission Fashion winner Antoine Al Kareh, were judges on beauty as well as brains!
The judges gave them scores on their walk, body and grace as well as their answers to some very critical and important questions.
by the end of the night, 6 girls left the competition and 12 moved on to the finals and they are:
Abir Habchi, Carole Al Maoushi, Christelle Azar, Eliana Atallah, Eliane Nemer, Michella Haddad, Patricia Chahine, Rosarita Tawil, Sarah Medawar, Stephanie Kattar, Stephanie Salem and Zeina Habchi.
Next Friday, one of these girls will be crowned Miss Lebanon 2008 and will receive the crown from Miss Lebanon 2007 Nadine Njeim.

The girls are very beautiful but many did not know how to talk, and Haifa looked very beautiful too!
did anyone notice the stage got on fire when Haifa was singing, and they had ppl run to turn it off... it was scary and wow her new video clip is so scary, it makes you jump when you see the actual footage of her getting hit by the plane!!
it was so amazing!
waleg,
can you please post up the prime pleeeeeeeeease!!! I really want to see that video...thanx
I saw the prime, The shortest girl is 174 cm and there are many girls above 180 and above?...
I did not know Lebanese are THAT tall. waw!
yayyy i herd nancy ajram is the last prime guest!! i cnt wait 2 hear her new songs from the new album!!
Has anyone noticed that all the girls are Christian? I don't mind, but I smell sectarianism here.
I heard that Nancy Ajram is the guest from a website and from another that Assi El Hellani is the guest for Miss Lebanon 2008 final prime! I am confused whose the actual guest!
i just watched the show.
Abir, Stephanie Salem, and Zeina are the prettiest. Especially Stephanie.
Haifa looked really pretty too.
Rosarita and Stephanie Salem are the only ones who look normal and really pretty
the other girls look kinda strange
just wanted to say... Assi el Hillani is the guest of honor for Miss lebanon final prime..
and Weirdd... just wanted to tell u that lebanon is a christian country... the president is christian.. because of this our Miss lebanon representative has to be christiann... its always been like this!!!
GO Stephanie Salem!!!
**** first of all lebanon is not a christian country and yes ra2ees el jomhiriya ischristian but this does not mean lebanon is a christian country. For your information there are much more muslims than christains in lebanon. Miss Lebanon does not have to be christian but its usually the christians that take part of these kind of contests.
honey there is no more muslims in libanon there is more Christians I have been there for many years and I know, ANd all the girls in miss lebanon is christian...
Actually Christians in Lebanon now make up about a third of the country, same for Shiites and Sunnis; So yes there are now more Muslims in Lebanon than Christians.
We are neither a Muslim or a Christian country. Well it is a wonder that we still have a country let alone label it in sectarian terms. Get over it already.
Actually the best girl in the contest Dolly left in the first prime.
chritians or muslims or jews are part of arabic coutries nd their history nd culture its too bad now to see this kind of sectarianism betwen them im muslim nd iam too apset of what happen in the arabic countries i hope that lebanon still being an example of tolerance betwin chritians nd muslims.in some statistic report i see that 70% are muslims but devided by chiites nd sunnites nd others nd 30% r chritians maronits
for me lamita franjiah is more beautiful than all of them that s my opinion :)
Lamita Frenjiyeh is the most beautiful all natural lebanese girl in all times. I am surprised why her beauty has always been underated or un-noticed, really. any explanations pls?
lamita frenjiyeh is very pretty but the reason she was underated is because she has has multiple beuty operations.
congratulations to Rosarita, Stephanie Salem and Michela. but i wanted stephanie salem to be miss lebanon 2008 because she is very nice and pretty.
congratulations rosalita!!!! =)
i wanted abir to be miss lebanon, but rosalita is reallly pretttyy too ... congratulations rosalitaaa ! [:
Miss Lebanon - Or Miss Troll (PART 2)
Well I'm not suprised that yet again Lebanon has failed to produce a Miss Lebanon capable of taking the Miss Universe Crown. Yet again many of them could not answer questions properly and some were just plain ugly. My God there was one that looked old enough to be my grandmother - infact she looked like a dark-haired version of Sabah. Stephanie Salem was the only one that stood out for me and she didn't win. Someones still doing a shifty. Maybe Hizbola needed to hold up the shifty judges rather than Future TV. Even Miss Israel's better looking. Shame Lebanon - SHAME SHAME SHAME
between the three girls ,,stephanie salem had to win but unfortunatly the jury has to judge the answer, thats the last chance they give to them by giving them the same question to make it easy on them,,and stephanie who is more beautiful than rosalita body and face,(she looks more like a miss),didnt answer very well as all the 5 girls did.if you remember the last part whEn stephanie figured out that one of the jury members shaked his head, she knew she made a mistake, and it brought her into tears.UNFORTUNATLYwatch closer.
Anwar is not Christian! so NO not all contestants are Christian.. sorry to inform you :)
and yes Stephanie Salem should have been the Miss. it's a shame she lost focus while answering the questions.. but anyway I hope she would stand out in Miss World coz she is the prettiest !!!
to steph `s fan
i wish stephanie will go to miss world, she reminds me chrisina sawaya body wise, very shaped and tall
