It takes a truly innovative mind to find opportunity in devastation and Dubai is filled with innovative minds! A recent interesting creation that originated in Dubai is the creation of the World’s longest Ambulance to be used for large disasters- both natural and man made. Think about it: there is –God forbid- and earthquake and the injured are numerous and the roads are blocked. In comes the World Longest Ambulance which has capacity for 29 patients and even has two Intensive Care rooms and Operating Rooms!

So you do not even have to wait to get to hospital as you can be treated inside the ambulance. The ambulance is also equipped with internet and satellite facilities so the doctors inside can communicate with those at the hospital easily. The Guinness World Book of Records will be sending a representative to officially announce it the World’s Longest Ambulance after the completion of its manufacturing at the beginning of 2009!
