The seventh prime of Super Star 5 last night was a tad bit different from the past 6 primes; each contestant performed twice, once alone and then together in duetto with another contestant.
The guest was Lebanese singer Walid Tawfiq.
There was also a touching reportage about a humanitarian activity the 6 finalists did together, they paid a visit to the St. Joud Children Center for Cancer.
The finalists kicked off the show with a medley of Tawfiq's most famous songs.
The first finalist to sing was Dunia from Morocco and she did Ah Ya Leil by Shireen.
She didn't do so well and got three red lights and only one green light!
The second finalist to sing was Abdel Majid from Saudi Arabia. He sang Siret El Hob by Umm Kulthoum.
He did great and got four green lights! Congrats!
Then the first duetto was performed by Asma and Murad.
They sang Khidni Maak.
They both did very well and got three green lights.
Walid Tawfiq then sang the first of his songs for the night, Inta Meen?
The third contestant to sing was Elie from Lebanon. He sang Habibi Kida by George Wassuf.
He also did great and got four green lights! Congrats!
The fourth contestant to sing was Diana from Lebanon and she did Al Amaken by Mohammad Abdo.
She got three green lights and one red one!
Ziad Butros gave her a red light for the choice of the song because it didn't really suit her!
The second duetto was performed by Dunia and Abdel Majid. They sang Halak Mush Tayeb.
They did well and everyone thought they were cute together!
The fifth contestant to sing was Murad from Palestine and he sang Lazraalek Bestan Wroud by Fouad Ghazi.
He did good and got four green lights! Congrats!
The third duetto was done by Elie and Diana and they sang Bilghi Kil Mwaidi.
They did very well and were also very compatible!
The last contestant to perform was Asma from Morocco and she did Ahl El Maghna by Fella.
She did very well and got four green lights! Congrats!
To end the prime, Walid Tawfiq sang a medley of his songs.
As for next week's guest, it's going to be Majid el Muhandes.
