Syrian actor Tayem Hassan is now one of the most famous names in Arab TV series and some may even say he's bigger than Jamal Sulaiman too!
Tayem did an interview with Rotana magazine last months and revealed that he considers Sulaiman to be his mentor and he has huge respect for him. He also makes it clear that he hasn't stolen Sulaiman's fans!
You've seen Tayem in the trilogy about Alandalous, Saqr Quraish, Rabia Cordoba and Muluk Al Tawaef. He did a great job and left a lasting impression in the minds and hearts of viewers across the Arab world.
But what about his role in King Farouq last year? Who did that work for him?
Tayem had a certain idea about the character of King Farouq, but was surprised after reading the script that the man is quite different!
He liked the character and did his best to prepare for it.
Tayem gained a lot of weight to be about to even physically look like the King and had loads of butterflies in his stomach as to what the Egyptian audience would think of him and how he portrayed the King.
The series was a success and drew lots of applause. That's what really counts in the end.
As for Tayem's latest projects, he's finished working on a new TV series entitled 'Ayam Al Thaer' -Days of Revenge- in the historic city of Tadmor or Palmyra in Syria.
It's a Bedouin story and is expected to be a smash hit! It's directed by renowned director Hatem Ali and Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak will be by Tayem's side in the series.
As for Tayem's personal life, he's head over heels in love with his wife, Syrian actress Dima Bayyaa and his two kids. He also is very appreciative of his fans and is never annoyed by the continuous attention he gets from them. He loves you too!
