Nader and Manal along with Saad and Najat experience significant bumps in their relationships because Saad and Nader decided to follow their dreams and enter the Academy. But is it right for the show to be destroying relationships and breaking hearts? According to recent news Manal and Nader are over and I cannot help but think that the little fling with Mima had something to do with this break up.
Also Najat must not have been happy when Saad was stroking Diaa’s hair and kissing her goodnight! The annoying part is that the producers not only made sure we saw these happenings on the 24 hr channel but they then put it in the Dailies as if rubbing salt in an already sore wound. To be honest though if they couldn’t make it through a reality TV show one could argue these relationships were not destined to last!
Is Star Academy to blame for the end of these relationships?

No ...Star academy is not blamed even Nader & Saad are not ....because if they truly loves their girls NO WAY they will let them go .
as we saw with Ahmed Sherif ( he is more sexier than the other 2 ) :))) but he was commited to his girl friend and he engaged to her last year .
So this was a true love .

what has the show to do with the relationships of the students?
each of them has to take with their act the responsibilty for the own life.. they are young people, they are just at the beginning of their own life... nobody choose the first person ("girlfriend or boyfriend) to get married alatul......(it`s very rare..) at this age, they all just making experience...like each of us..
but who does know what the future brings for some of them? time will tell...
anyway..mirhan visited her forum and told, that she and nader are always in touch and talking to each other every day till now...
i hope for an happy ending for both...bcs i love them together
if u say that what between saad and najat is love then why diaa said toi him that u cant love both of us and u have to chose only one person in ur heart ?
another thing najat she is only sixten years old shes is veru young to know what love is saad on the pther hand more mature for his age so is diaa they completed each other and thats the key for a good relationship to succeed at any age ,i pray for both saad and diaa to find that happiness again with each other knowing that they will be together no presuer like in the academy and they will make happened i am sure .
When Adnan & Zaher were back in the Academy all the guyz they were playing truth & dare!.. Adnan then asked the guyz the same question that if u already have a gurlfriend then u lived with another as in Star Academy then u fell 4 other gurl?! .. All the guyz answered the same answer which was that the 1st relation wasn't even love cuz when u love s.o it isnt possible 2 fall 4 s.o else.. And that distance sometimes increases the love & not viceversa..
So I guess the guyz were mature enough 2 know that point.. For Nader there were problems even b4 the Academy with Manal.. Saad I think the situation is more difficult cuz when I hear him talking about Najat I feel no the guy seriously love her but at the same time there is the chemistry with Diaa..!
I wish both Nader & Saad the best whether with Manal or Najat or others..

i think that the relationships that happen inside the academy are more truthful than the outside. nader has been with his gf for a looooonnng time but he picked mirhan. same with saad he had been with najat for a looong time but he picked Diaa why because they lived with them for almost 4 months. they saw each other 24 hours. they lived with each other every second. they had their sad moments happy and scared. its almost like they were married and living in their house. the academy changes them. who would have thought that Adnan was going to love again. if you guys rememeber he said he had lost faith in love and there he is he loved asma and she loved him. as the egyptian people call it ISHRA. or like those poeple who get married but they dont love each other but over the time they love each other same with the students inside the academy

"ashret omr" does that mean in egypt, like people, who know each other for a long time, this not just mean people who love each other, that means as well neighbours, good friends...

Star Academy didn't ruin relationships !! I think these relationships were meant to be ruined because they were not based on real love. If they were, they wouldn't have ended , especially in Nader's case because Mima always told Nader that he shouldn't be drawn by anything new except after deciding really well what were his feelings towards Manal. She told him to wait and test his feelings after the academy. She is very mature although many people had accused her of being childish in her actions. Those people can not diffrentiate between being lively and full of life and between the actions and words that reflect that person's real self and maturity. Mirhan , although I believe she likes (loves) Nader , still she was very cautious in giving Nader the green light. She didn't want to be hurt and to be dragged into admitting her love to Nader who was still in a condition of transition. This is what Mima did . She didn't ruin Nader's relation to Manal, but what ruined it that real love wasn't there. I don't blame Nader because he felt something for Mima and at the same time knew that Manal is there and she had occupied part of his heart for sometimes; Nader was in a difficult situation. I really love Mima and Nader. I wish they would be together , but still if not , I will still love them. What I hope is that they remain friends , if they saw that real love doesn't exist betwen them. The most important thing is that both should put each other into consideration and take care not to hurt each others' feelings. Mima's and Nader's Fans should do the same and never hurt Mima's or Nader's feelings. Love can not be forced,; it is felt. Thanks Nader and Mima.

for your nice words, you are a lovely girl.
believe me, that sometimes also for us was not that easy to understand the different arabic languages, that the "students" spoke in the academy.. bcs of the different dialect. (tunis..egypt...lebanon...kuwait......) there were so many words, "expressions", that they means in egypt something very different as in tunis or in palestin or in lebanon...sometimes was the situation therefor very funny but sometimes was that also very angry ; there were many fights btw the students and btw the audience bcs of this misunterstanding, bcs they didn`t understand exactly what someone meant.

If they were really in love with these girls nothing will destroy it or break it , so the blame is on the person not the program and that in my opinion .

Star Academy isn't responsible for ruining these realtionships and they shouldn't be criticized for showing Saad and Nader flirting with Diaa and Mirhan. It's Saad and Nader's own fault that they don't respect their girlfriends and flirt with other girls. I don't blame Manal for leaving Nader. He deserves it since he was practically in love with Mirhan. Nader and Saad knew that anything they did might be broadcast on TV, so they shouldn't blame Star academy for ruining their relationships.
