There are a few names in the world of music that we associate with being attacked by Islamic groups for being seductive and for dressing in a sexual manner in order to ‘make it’ in the industry and Nancy Ajram has always been one of those names. However, in a surprising gesture an online Islamic group which is known for fighting such singers called ‘Hamasana’ is now defending Nancy Ajram claiming that the ‘random’ mannerism of attacks on her is unfair.
The group claims that she dresses appropriately when she appears on TV and that she sings for children in an angelic manner whilst Haifa Wehbe is always showing too much flesh and even when she sang for kids, an obvious reference to the infamous ‘Wawa’, she seemed to be attempting to seduce children!
It’s interesting that this group has decided to differentiate between the worst and the ‘not so bad’ and I’m sure Nancy will be thrilled with their backing!

Ladies and gentlemen the hijab was invented by man thousands of years ago to keep women in a subservient position to man. All three monotheistic faiths have the hijab..But in Judaism and Christianity it is only the very religious who wear their respective veils. Unfortunately Arab Muslims started to wear the hijab because of Syrian Christian influence when the Muslims and the mohammden army invaded Syria in 634 AD. For the record the first Muslim community in mecca DID NOT WEAR the veil..Aisha never wore the veil! So I apologize to the Muslims for this influence..which eventually made muslim women wear the veil…
I can tell you that the veil has NOTHING to do with Islam. The Qu’ran says that women have to be modest…nowhere in the Qur’an does it specifically say “women have to wear the veil”..Those who say that the veil is required for muslim women are very ignorant of their own religion…
Having said all of this I agree with Cool, that the veil is disgusting ....the veil is about control and keeping women acquiescent to man. If the veil is about hiding your beauty and keeping it only for your spouse ..then how come Muslim men aren’t veiled? Women could be attracted to men too!!! I know that the latter thought is a hard pill to swallow for Muslim men.

I dont understand this DRAMA about the Hijaab now, ok Hijaab some women wear it some dont its there choice, many of my aunts are Muslim some wear the Hijabb and some dont, they are beautiful in personality aneways, I understand. Many of my finreds who study abroad dont wear the Hijabb here but when they go back home its back to Shayyla abayaa. Aneways to wear is Hijaab is a personal choice for some girls. and thats about it. It has its ups and its downs but u learn ti deal with it i guess. wallahi ya BABINA i count hav said it any better.... and i wanna add sumthing....a couple of ppl who have posted above said that the virgin mary and nuns and even the very respected mother thersa all wore head covering...tru but sum1 unitelligents ppl might say: " well i dont live in the 1st century and i am niether a religious freak to cover my head" well think abou this...when cristian ppl or even jewish ppl go to church or the synagouge (dont noe how its spelled) how do they dress...dont they wear rspectable and covered clothes...sum wear a scarf over their head ...some wear lond skits and not tight clothes...etc...why is that.....i asked that question to a cristian friend of mine and she was like "oh its because we are rsspecting god1" then i told her " so you only respect god whn u go vist his house? , cuz muslims wear the hijab cuz we respect god EVERYWHERE... she looked at me and had no answer....i wonder why that was....

OK thats was my comment first of all you can say my username i like to talk hehe. I am not on anyones side here, im just talking, listen times changed since the "1st century" and religions evolved this is the only argument i can give u come religions evolve and some dont son do the math and figure out which one has not evolved, and thats urs my freind. In certain parts of the world its still very primal. Its not correct of you to assume as Christians or anyone from another, that we do not RESPECT GOD outside of Church because we sure do but we are free to not cover oursleves up. Besides I know many many Modern Sunni's who do not cover there heads up. Does that mean they are not respecting God? Hummm tell me. We all respect God in our own way Muslim or Christian. We have to stop these pointless feuds, everyone is fee to do what they wish and it dosen't make us not Respect out One God.
