Did you read the article on "Zahrat alkaleeg" dated 5/24/08 about Merihan, its really bad.
They were saying that the reason why marihan stayed that long in the academy is because she used her body, she was the haifa wahbi of the academy, she was almost naked in her outfits and thats why all the guys in the academy were running after her, she used her sexy body to attract those boys everywhere even the teachers, especially the sport teachers plus going in the pool with boys to look at her body, and making relationships everywhere starting with mustafa, then zaher and last nader plus the other boys were attracted to her too, the academy looked like cheap apartment as in low and dirty, and it is all because of merihan, they said this season had so much kissing, hugging, and touching and most of the girls did these things but marihan was the worst, even in the primes she showed her body to the world just to stay another week, and when she finally got out rola and her staff brought her back with no reason just to keep the hot stuff going and the relationships to go on. So the theme of star academy for season 5 was the lower you get the longer you stay according to the magazine.

but i think, she is not that bad person. well i living in europe, but not even here deal a girl with boys that way, that mima use, yes she has for a muslimgirl a very free behaviour. but this is her personality. she has a wonderful big heart, she is very smart and loyal!! and if someone of her friends in the academy needed a help, she was there for them. yes, she made some relationships, but just as friendship. maybe at the beginning she had some feelings for mustapha, but after she is looking at him as a brother. i watched the way, how she is dealed with nader, so that was much more, as friendship. sure, she answered every sms-night, that she likes nader as a brother, but at the night, then they went out to pizzahut, nader gave her one of his golden bracelet as a present and she take it and she wearing it! she told him bevor, that if he has strong feelings (true love) for her, he has to deal with his girlfriend manal after the academy and now...nader is single..
i`m sure, that mima and qwaider will have a very funny time on their tour backstage, bcs they were a biggest "fun factor" in the academy, so they will do everything to make their tour-time funny.

I entered twice to merihan's website mountada from Shahinaz website enter google and write shahinaza website and when u enter to it u notice Merihan's mountada where u can log to it .
First of all, her name is not marihan, it's MIRHAN. Second of all, if what u claim written is true, then that's the most insane thing i've ever heard. Just becoz she has a very feminine body and long hair doesn't make her Haifa Wehbe. She wears short skirts and shorts and sleevless t-shirts - that's called modern outfit style, there's nothing new to it, most girls who have good shapes wear them. Even Diaa and Shahinaz wore short skirts. I've watched this show 24/7 for 4 months and I would like to underscore the fact that i've never ever seen her almost naked or expose some parts of her body. On the contrary i've seen Diaa, Amel Mahalawi, and Shahinaz's half exposed boobs inside z academy but never Mirhan's. I know they didn't mean anything but why is it an hot issue when it comes to Mirhan??? ANd believe me, all the guys liked her becoz of her pesonality. It's becoz she is honest, fun, sweet, friendly, smart, a true friend, etc... overall her inside soul. I swear that if, for instance, she had Shahinaz's personality, the guys wouldn't even notiice her or treat her nice. The sport teacher - George likes all the students and he likes mima mostly for her spontaneous character and for her hard work. He is married and have teenage children for God's sake!!! Besides that, Mirhan went swimming only twice of 3 times max. and last time she went she was wearing her big t-shirt, it's not even swimming suit and she always wrapped a scarf around her waist. SO tell me, what about Diaa Asma, Amel, and Imane,eh?????? Regarding relationships, she used to have a sort of crush on Mustafa and that's becoz he was acting romantic on her; he led her the impression and i don't blame her. Later on, they both realized it and they are such good friends now. But as to the rest of the boys, she has got nothing to do with it. She was just real and true to herslef and to the rest. ANd she 100% deserved to stay. She was working hard more than any other student inside the academy no matter what. She was the brilliant one and in every class, she gave it her best unlike the others who depended only on their voice. But she never depended on anything. This show is not abt voice ONLY. There are shows like superstar or the x-factor or etc for that. ANd although she was one of the students who had weak voices, she has every other star qualities. And with a little bit of work, she'll be so great - only time will reveal coz she's the best and she's one of a kind.
At last, the theme and the magazine is as low as it could ever get.
And my advice would be, before you want to comment on such things, better watch the prog. properly, that's why it was on 24/24 on tv. If not, keep away from posting unrealistic comments.

Ok people, stop attacking me here, i have nothing to do with this, i just read it on arasale site and shared it with you, so this is not my opinion, it is a magazine from the gulf.
I was not a fan of mima but at the same time i dont hate her and i dont agree with the whole article, merihan had made some mistakes and bad choices just like all the students but still writing an article like this about her is not nice, i feel bad just because i know that her parents and her friends and her fans are reading it, plus i know how you feel because i felt really bad when i read the stupid article that abdala did, and he talked about moe so bad, and i am a big fan of moe so i realize that its not fair for moe or mima because these students are just starting their lives and future so having these attacks on them from the media already at this early stage will affect on them badly and it will disappoin them big time. They need support and encouragements not stuff like that.

How can they talk about Mima and not about Asma when adnan kissed her it is shown in Youtube they were standing at the door of the girls room.
why they don't talk about Diaa and Saad hugs and when he played with her hair all these things and one more thing Diaa continued talking with Saad even after she tried to take away Najat's photo which he kept till the last day and he isisted on her to put it back she continued talking to him. while Mirhan refused to come close to Nader because of Manal and she always reminded him u have a girlfriend.
