I am glad that you put this comment here because i did not see your previous comment to me on the "concert of abdoun" page so i can reply to you.

Ok, i read your comment, you concluded that i am a young working woman from North America (belongs to your group # 4) who likes what she does and does not mind using her time for doing it. You are absolutely right.

I dont know where you live but for me i have been living in North America for over 15 years now, life is not that easy, we work so hard since we were teenagers so for me when i come home after a long day of stress at work i need a break or some kind of entertainment to take my mind off everything, so since i am still in love with my backround and culture i started to watch arabic TV and star academy was the best entertainment for me, i liked it alot, but i was not that attached to it until this season because for the first time in 5 seasons i actually liked one of the students alot and started to support him, then someone told me about this site to read the dailies when i miss them and i realized that people actually comment here and give their opinion so i started writing too and i enjoyed alot.

I have mentioned my age, my gender, and where i live few times before, so maybe you did not see it thats why you were wondering about my gender.

But i still dont know WHY you think my form of writing is very "male" like, how could it be? concidering that i had a female enery for Qwaider Man as you put it. Anyway i would like you to tell me if you dont mind.

About the name "W" i picked it for these reasons:
- I did not want to use my real name.
- I did not want to use a fake name
- I did not want to use the name of who i support like Qwaider lover and stuff like that.
- I wanted the name to be unique and simple
- So i picked "W" which is my first initial.
Why did you think of that one?

Now going back to star academy and reality TV, i know its not all real, i know their is alot of acting involved too but that does not change the fact that i loved Mohamed's voice so much, i loved listening to him singing in primes and in the academy, and for some reason he seems real to me, as in not fake and does not know how to act, thats why he got in so much trouble this whole season, but again thats my opinion and you might disagree on that.

Now rola, the LBC, the dailies and all the team that works for star academy are playing games and they used these students to make some drama to attract viewers since the season was not doing so well when it first started, we all know that.

I agree with you on the part that alot of people lost interest in this show because of Rola Saad, so unless they have major changes next season, alot of their viewers will be gone.

As for myself i have said this before i will always support and look for Mohamed's news and hoefully he will have a good future and good luck, he has an amazing talent and everybody agrees on that, no matter how much you love or hate his personality but you got to like his voice, this is the one thing that we all agree on.

I hope i answered all your questions, and you wont be wondering anymore.

Now do you mind if i ask you where are you from? and why do you like to analyse this show so much, you dont have to answer if you dont want to.

thank you for the long reply ! I am an occasional visitor on the site, and, sorry, do not know what info you have "given away" about yourself, because it was hard to follow all what was submitted during the StarAc season (even with the fast reading I could not get more than about half of it). By the way, I discovered the site when I was looking for the info why the StarAc season was delayed the last Dec.

To be precise, I meant your "formatting," not so much the "style," might be pointing to your gender identity - if disregarding the other characteristics of what I saw submitted to the forum. The comments I have noticed, particularly since about the 7th prime when I stopped watching the dailies and was reading often your comments just to get a general idea with what new schemes Rola was bugging the viewers (what does not mean that after the final I did not go over the clips of the dailies available online, though by mostly skipping through those roughly 60 days) - all these narratives were well structured, almost "waterproof," seldom went "off the tangent" and were giving the impression of the "tight considerations" - all not indisputably "male-like" in character, but, as an analog of the handwriting (as I believe it is not difficult to notice difference in the male and female handwriting), it made me wonder (as the other hints were pointing to the female writer) ...

No, I do not disagree that Qwaider is a "bad actor." However, on many occasions I had a strong impression that you and all others on the forum really believed in what went on in the "soap opera." To take just the crudest examples: when Shahi "fainted," or, when Dia and Nader returned "injured," together with the reactions of other "students" - all that was considered on the forum as the "real" pranks. When Shahi sees a rat, or Mirhan a cockroach, all set up by the Rola's team, of course there is that genuine reaction elicited by the first surprise, but as the "students" live all the time in that fake setting of the "reality show" they all quickly come back to their senses and go on pretending and finishing the scene as expected (like, initially Moha was authentically surprised about Shahi, on the floor, but, in the next frame where he is typing message for a help he is already "different," and in the end when Shahi jumps up he is clearly acting; and not very well). And so on, and on ... All about that "academy" is the make-believe and improvisations. It is used in the LBC labs for cutting and pasting to create characters that may attract the voters - the voting makes the major profit for the show, as simple as that.

The "so much analyzing" comes from the problem I have had with the StarAc-s, particularly this one : at the same time attraction to it and dislike. I used to like the show very much, have all the seasons in my files (of the 5th only 1/3; have been listening to all seasons continually), and was feeling as if someone or something is stealing it away from us. It took me all this season to accept that the show is ruined by the over-commercialization and that it is over (for me). Of course, along the way I was mystifying others (like you), about what is this guy up to with all the dissections ...

Yes, living in the N.Am. is pretty hard, often "miserable" - though it does not look like it (superficially, and especially if you listen to the "natives" - those who have no idea about the life elsewhere, and plus, have been brainwashed since the childhood that this is a Paradise on the earth, or something like that). I am fully aware of what you are talking about (work, culture, roots, etc..), and so much so, that I am afraid I might become sentimental if I go on about this subject; therefore, would rather stop it here ...
