This week was a very interesting and full one for Archaeologists in the Arab world!
In Egypt, treasures were found as diggers were searching for the lost tomb of Cleopatra.
Antiquities chief Zahi Hawass announced that an alabaster head of Cleopatra and a mask belonging to Mark Antony have been found near Alexandria.
Wait! There's more! A bronze statue of Goddess Aphrodite and a headless royal statue from the Ptolemaic dynasty were also found, in addition to 20 bronze coins stamped with Cleopatra's face! That's a big find!
More interesting stuff after the jump ...

We've never heard of any dinosaur findings in the Arabian peninsula ... until now!
Palaeontologists have finally found the first dinosaur footprints in Yemen!
Tracks of a herd of 11 long-necked sauropods (huge, plant-eating dinos) walking along a coastal mudflat in Yemen.
The footprints dating from about 150 million years ago showed the sauropods traveling at the same speed along a river, likely in search of food. Wow!
Don't tell me this isn't interesting!?
