Omar, The Iraqi Contestant of Star Academy 5

omar from star academy 5

Do you remember Omar? The Iraqi student who left LBC Star Academy on the first week?

I watched Star Academy 5 since day 1, and I liked that guy and thought he was cute and talented. I was extremely shocked that he got nominated the first week, although a lot of other students were weaker than him. Isn't it weird that I still remember him and I guess other people do?
I think it was not fair that he left so early and here are my reasons:
The first nomination is totally unfair! I don't know how they can judge those students after only 3 days of vocalize or acting classes (if not less).

The second reason would be that he was talented enough to stay there for a much longer time. I guess they might have nominated him first just because he was Iraqi (Shaza was the winner the previous year)!
I don't know but I feel bad for this guy for an unknown reason and I believe he should have stayed.
I heard he went back to Egypt and continued his education. He has a forum with almost 2000 members which is weird for a guy who stayed for only one week! He's also got several groups on Facebook.
The guy was unique and deserved a much bigger chance.
Do you agree with me? I'd live to hear your opinion.

7aram he really did have bad luck. such a nice person and his voice and singing abilities were much better than some who stayed much longer. his first eval was not bad at all, his singing in english was nice.

Of course I do, he was very unique, very sweet and kindhearted.

Once in the student-teacher sessions they asked him what can get u mad, he told them "al'3oroor", people who think they are better than others and have more rights then others.

I agree.. I swear after the 1st prime I came out remembering Nader, Diaa nd Omar .. smth about these 3 were unique..
I was shocked when he got nominated the 1st week like he deserves 2 stay more than most of those candidates.. And what made me pissed even more were the teachers reasons that he was nominated.. It was like he keeps changing his voice so we don't know how does his real voice sound like?!?! 'Michelle said that: WTF 'NONSENSE: .. And in da prime.. 1 of the reasons he is nominee was that he didn't get used 2 da academy's atmosphere.. BLA BLA BLA.. That was like so unfair..
I Love That Guy .. He had the looks, the voice nd smth different .. He didn't appear as shallow as the rest of those candidates..
I still remember him too I swear..!
All I know about him is that he is in Egypt nw cuz he actually lives there..
    Wish Him Best Of Luck..!

Omar was a great person! He was talented and they even showed him on the bonus dailies imitating George Wassouf and he did a good job! I think he should have stayed longer.. Evryone liked him from the first week..

Good Luck Omar.. Continue sharing your talent! Iraqis and all arabs are with u!

i totally agree with you im not just saying that cuz im iraqi but he did have a nice voice better than others and lots of talent. and if they just named him nominee because they didnt want another iraqi winning the tittle well thats just rude and the stupidest thing ive ever heard

i so agree with everyone it wasnt fair that he had to leave from the first prime and he couldnt show his talent in those few days he stayed! but eveyone new that he cant become the star coz last year an Iraqi girl won so is year they didnt want him to stay so long! so that he wont win and show his talents!
