It seems Shahi told Nader and Abdallah that Mirhan had a birthday party once where she invited lots of guys and they all got drunk or something ... I'm not totally sure but i think it was something like that.
if anybody knows exactly what was said, please share!

so on fri. late night after prime, shahy abdulla pulled nader to the side to talk bout " hamadi " (mirhan) moe and saad were sleeping. shahy tells nader how she went to " hamadis" brithday after casting and said that "he" was drunk and with the guys and basically being bad.
nader then becomes a hypocrite and says he nvr liked " him" and that the realtionship didnt mean anything to him

and just for mor info
mirhan saw this and sent an sms to shahy and nader letting thm no that she noes and then shahy says later with nader that she didnt think anyone would see it......ok shahy if moe and saad were sleeping and u were with the ones that were awake were else would the camara go???......

anyways mirhan came bac ( i dont think she came back for drama but to be safe. airports r closed so yea ) and she let nader and shahy have it

When Mima "spoke" about Mohamed, she was stating fact and an a mutual feeling that most students shared towards Mohamed. We all have to admit, that in the beginning of the show, he was tough to digest. She always said though that he was a good person deep inside, he just has temper problems. Realize that when he became a better person, from within, the students love him! I personally love him now, although i wasn't too fond of him at first.

What Nader and Shahinez did to Mima is NOTHING of that sort. They basically fabricated stories to draw negative attention towards Mima! They started rumors about her and messed with her reputation. Notice she said the most important thing is her family...I mean come one, what Nader and Shahinez did was plain cruel. Although, I must admit that Nader broke my heart when he was apologizing to her, I love him

In the light of the new info we got yesterday, about Saudis blocking voting and the possibility of the Abdullah's family suing the LBC, it could be added that the "worst nomination ever" was also - the only one possible ! Rula Saad, the master manipulator, or the "expert" reality TV director, this season has tripped on her big ego, and there was no other way for her but to go on with these students nominated.

The reality TV "bad guy" technique is just one of the available, depending on the group and the available individuals. Rula Saad probably could not believe her luck when she got Qwaider to her show : with his strong ego, a smoker who had to quit for three months, as one of the top candidates he was a perfect person for the "bad boy" role in the show. In the reality TV the first conflict situations are scripted and the bad guy is involved in 2-3 rows, and later on the director just needs to expand on these confrontations and build upon them and soon there are real conflicts and the rest is just to manage properly these quarrels. Rula tried the same thing last year with the "bad girl" Shada character, but it did not go well so it was dropped. This year Rula succeeded beyond all expectations and one of the bad boy's conflicts became real - with Abdullah. What Rula did about it ? Nothing! She just let it simmer and develop even further - out of her control; or, rather, she was not able to control it; she mismanaged it. Even at the end, when Abdullah was leaving she was not able to control the developments in a proper way, because putting a nice face to the events could not persuade anyone there are many things hidden in the background. Exaggerating her own caring role, she just made the whole issue worst.

The "Qwaider man" is a good singer and in his own way a nice gay. Rula Saad created from him a polarizing hero, as the "bad boy" with the "white hart." Some viewers would like to mop the floor with him, some glorify him as the greatest singer in the recent Middle-East history. If you forget about his "character" - built in the "Academy" and selectively shown to us - and limit your perception on the only "real" part of the show - on the stage - and judge Qwaider by what he shows in his performances, and then compare what you see and hear with other students, of this season and the former ones, you might be able to think without the prejudice about him. For example, compare him to Qamah (the last year finalist). Like, is Quaider better guitar player? No. Is he able to sustain a note longer than Qamah? Yes. Is his voice range wider than Qamah's ? No. Is his voice more pleasant the Qamah's ? Unlikely. Who is better overall musician? Qamah. As for the "stage presence," they are both rather absent than present. Roughly, it should mean addressing each viewer in the audience. True, you can observe Qwaider's ego on the stage but this is another thing. When Shahi or Mirhan come out they transform themselves, though Mirhan more towards showing herself, rather than singing-to (the audience). I would even argue that Zaher has way better "presence" than Qwaider. Therefore, Qwaider, with his unique voice color (that some may like) is not that extraordinary performer. I also disagree with some who say that guys like him can be found in every second restaurant in Lebanon (true, Joseph was there).

Having this situation around her neck, and she can blame only herself for that, what was Rula's option? To ameliorate the situation and save the show from the Khaleeji anger, she had only one way out : if one guy involved in the conflict has left, to restore some balance the other one would have to go as well. To dismiss Qwaider by nominating Nader or Saad with him would not make sense as their saving by public would not seem plausible. However, having an Egyptian candidate out with Qwaider makes it all believable (because - supposedly the common knowledge is - only Khaleeji voters can beat Egyptian voters, sometimes).

Regardless of what Rula Saad can do at this moment, if the suit against the LBC comes to the court her career in the StarAc will be over. I can only applaud to that, and, eventually, when I see that happen may even jump to dance. The show needs a major reconstruction and it is hard to expect Rula Saad is able for that. She has done enough and should retire. I am sure Qwaider - the guy we still do not know - will give her a free ticket for his first concert.

I would like we remember the season by Rula leaving the show; and, certainly, it will be remembered by the Qwaider - Abdullah conflict.

The another very simple reason Rula has nominated Shahi is - the need to create profit. As the Khaleeji candidate is out who else can do it but Shahi - she can bring in more money than Moha; and - think about it! - especially in the final, which is the most important prime profit-wise. It is cruel to say it, but Rula needs Shahi in the final not because of her voice, but because of the cash the young woman can generate. Rula Saad is just a scam artist; with a flair for being in the spot light in the primes. Not a real director ...

Yes Egyptian and Proud, I agree with you as well. They are trapped in a house for four months. Mirhan is sucking all the attention from the guys, and no one pays attention to Shahinaz. Why, because she doesn't wear revealing clothes and let herself be kissed and hugged by the guys. She gets little attention because she's dignified and doesn't let herself be handled and played with like a toy. She couldn't stand it, so she wanted some attention, that's why she started talking. (Plus, Mirhan's behavior would let anyone talk. But i know, not in front of cameras) It was wrong, but I understand her. They make fun of how she eats, all the time. That is really rude, and I know for a fact that they would not do that to anyone else. She's pressured from all corners, she barely got a top 1, and Mirhan is always in the top 5 although it was obvious that Shahinaz's voice is amazing, and could crush Mirhan's voice. Bla, bla bla, the teachers say she has to work on her stage presence. She doesn't stand there like a statue, what do they want her to do, dance like crazy on the stage and wear short clothes so she could attract the viewer's attention, while trying to concentrate on her voice and the hard songs she gets. It's no problem for Mirhan, she doesn't have a voice to concentrate on, so she could dance all she wants. Open your eyes people, to all of the things happening. The girl is pressured, her family is pushing her to do better, the teachers barely acknowledge or compliment her hard work, and she is ignored in the academy by the people in it. So yes I understand why she would have done that, I'm not saying it's right though. People aren't perfect and they don't always do the right thing. So there you go!

I agree with you that voice is subjective to prefference and point of view , but technically mohammed just has more potential than qammah when it comes to vocal abilities , and the way qammah sings might trick you into thinking that his voice is smooth while in fact it's shallow , weak , fake , and amateurish ... he is certainly not a great singer , and this is even without comparing him to moe ,
but without a doubt , qammah is a better musician than anyone in starac5 ,
so bottom line , qammah is a great musician , an average singer , and a boring performer .....IMO of course .

a good singer without an excellent composer is an average singer - lost in the showbiz jungle. Even with the (slightly) better vocal abilities if Moha does not find a good composer - for his voice ! - he will stay in the background as a nice potential, but not much more. Qammah can work on his songs (almost just) by himself - thta is his advantage (over Qwaider); and he's younger.

As much time I have I am skimming over the comments and have noticed yours as well. Please, do not "admire" my comments ; they are always made in haste (as I am skiping from one website to another) and oftten I make mistakes, or react with emotions (probably because I like this show - meaning : used to like it, and hereby limited to the primes). Like when I attacked the Mirhan's ipublic mmage after the prime when Asma was dismissed thanks to Mima, and when I called her a "hoe." That was not all right. Especially as I like All Egyptians sicnce I spent some time in Iskenderia.
Anyway, I like the shows with the new talented singers and will keep watching the StarAc - but, thanks to the Internet in the clips format - saves time and I do not have to see Rula Saad.

No, Qammah is not a standard to measure others with, as you say. My idea was just to compare Qwaiderr without any prejudice, negative or positive, with some former SatarAc candidate and see where and how he stands. I could take Ayub just as well, or Joseph, or Al Sharif. I am just not able to see why is Qwaider so exceptional as his fans would like him to be; and think it is just an echo of the image created for him by Rola Saad. No doubt his voice is great, but, it is not "exceptional." He might put the stage on fire, rather than Qammah, but, honestly, if I had to listen Qwaider on the CD after one CD I would get tired - in the same way it would happen after listening to Imad (StAc4) that long - because they are singing in the same mode all. Well, they are young; take Bahaa or Amani they can shift the mode and sound equally well. Qwaider is still "trying too much" - what comes out as a strain and that is, in other words, what I am talking about.

Let's see how he appears in the tour; in my opinion that is a major test for an aspiring "star" (more than primes).

Rula Saad is concerned with your satisfaction only asmuch as it means cash for her. The "last season" is the LBC rumor. If you like music watch the primes only, you do not need to concern yourself with the off-stage StarAc (like the dailies; 24/7 is a pure waste of time, because it is as "real" as the dailies). If you can, get the clips of the primes and skip the parts you think you would not like. Who knows, maybe next season will might see all the "profs" and Rula gone, and the new establishment (?)

Do not waste your money, because the North Am. voters participation is very minor (and cannot change anything) compared with the Arab countries input.

And BTW i have jordanian friends in the US. who hate Mohammed (they say he is a majrasa and we thank god that mme roula left him in the academy for that long). They say that jordanians are not like that. And i dont think they are like that.

I skim through your comments too when they are not too long and i have an idea of what you think about star academy and rola saad, its all about making money and i agree with you on this 100%. Rola will do anything and everything to make money and i have said this before 100 times, thats why abdala and marihan were spoiled so much during the this season, because merihan is like haifa wahbi, people love to look at her body and outfits not listen to her voice and that makes good money and of course abdala with his saudi money and gifts, but at the same time she wants lebanon to be in the final always thats why three years in a row she kept joseph, carlo, and now saad to the final without nomination at all, plus the royal treatment to saad.

Beleive me i was never a real fan to anybody in the last 4 seasons but i still watched the show, but this year for some reason i am supporting mohamed and voting for him, because i hated the mistreatment and the unfairness towards him from rola, i love his voice so much and i love his personality too, alot of people might disagree about the personality but i think he is a good guy and he deserves to win more than anybody else, so hopefuly he wins.

I think the only reason he was a nominee this week because rola lost her saudi money by losing abdala so she nominated the 2 that make more money even though they are her strongest two moe and shahi, because nader did not get any votes when he was a nominee before and saad will be the same, he wont have that many votes especially now with all the stuff thats going on in lebanon, so in my opinion who ever will win tomorrow will be the star next week, shahi or moe. Unless rola has another suprise which is possible.

Anyway, i will keep voting for moe and all his fans should never give up, he deserves to stay, so lets try our best and hopefully no cheating will be involved, and just from watching the sms night on a weekly basis, moe gets at least 4 times more than shahi if she gets 10 he gets 40 like last week for example, so lets just hope for the best for moe.

Im sorry but i have to disagree...kammah has PLENTY of stage presence...he composes he writes, he has a beautiful voice...just because it isnt as high as mohammeds doesnt mean its not good...he clearly is one of the most talented people that have ever or will ever step into the academy...he is a complete package....u remember last yr wen he sang with hamaki the stage went crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy or wen he performed his songs...wen he came to Egypt he had a concert and a hugeee audience showed up it made it to the newspapers.....he has a huge fan base and people never forgot about him..ur right charisma comes without force...and thats the case for kammah as welll....he is even getting support from all kinds of huge names in this business because they know how big he is guinna be...kammah is gunna be BIG very soon ull seee!!

It's true if Mo returns he's going to win cause Joradan will open thelines for free. But u can't compare Saad's voice to Mo's each have their own style. They both have amazing voices and each can exel in various places. But they can;t be compared.
