In the midst of all that is occurring in Lebanon right now the Lebanese people have chosen to defy the enemy and go on singing and bringing happiness into the hearts of many. And in this spirit two of the brightest Lebanese stars Carole Smaha and Star Academy star Joseph Attieh travelled to Australia to perform in a highly successful concert. I mean it is difficult to stay in touch with Arab music and culture when you are so far away but this concert brought together Arabs from all over Australia who came to enjoy this taste of true Arab culture.

The most interesting part of the night was when Joseph and Carole sang together and it was brilliant! The warmth of Carole’s voice and the power of Joseph’s singing came together to make beautiful music. It’s great to see that these Lebanese artists are not burying their heads in the sand and instead are doing their jobs and representing their country in the best possible way.
