Early today things got heated and took a new turn in Lebanon.
Hezbollah have taken control of most of Beirut, which has lead to the forceful shut down of Future TV and the headquarters of Al Mustaqbal newspaper and radio.
Things don't look good ... the airport is closed down now and the scene reminds the world of the dark days of the civil war.
The situation exploded on Thursday, after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that the government had declared war by claiming that Hezbollah's communication network was illegal.
We pray with all our hearts and wish that things get better in Lebanon.
We sure don't need another war!!!

God bless Lebanon but things are not looking good at all and I dont think this is going to improve anytime soon. There has been tension for too long now it has completely exploded again and there is no turining back until one party takes control. I have mixed feelings I dont support hezbollah but I dont agree with any of the the other parties either because they are american puppets and unable to lead independently. Of course neither one is going to back down Hezbollah have been plotting for this forever and the other ones are backed by US and in the end it is for US interest like everything else in the world
I don't understand why don't the lebanese parties sit togather and solve their problems. They couldn't decide on a president for months and now the situation is getting worse. Why does every leader have to put his own party interest before the county's own safety.
I cannot blame Nasrallah for defending his right to have weapons. He cannot let the government disarm him and his men when they are the strongest party in the country. To be honest if it wasn't HizbAllah Stand-up last war Lebanon wouldn't have overpowered the Israili forces so strongly, yet you cannot lead your country to a civil war without giving any other solutions to the whole situation.
I just hope the best for Lebanon. I really hope that things could be solved peacfully

We all can see what is going on in Lebanon; and if you're like me and living in a foriegn country like the U.S. you can't do anything to help it but pray. Let us recap. So, the Future TV building has been burnted down and a flag of Syria and a picture of Bashr Al-Assad were hung on the building, the streets are filled with chiates that plan to destroy every corner of Lebanon, the soldiers can't do much, about 8 people were killed yesterday and 15 people got hurt, and Nasrallah is going on TV and threating Lebanese. So who do you think should take the bame for this?
