Well I will not lie, when Mirhan returned to the Academy on Friday night I was ecstatic. But it was hard not to realize the strange coincidence of Mustapha’s –Mirhan’s obvious love interest- return to the Academy for two days and her winning the majority of the votes. Did Madame Roula fix the voting so Mirhan would return and viewers would tune in to see her and Mustapha ‘together again’? But then thinking about it, the voting had ended by the time Mustapha came on stage and Madame Roula told him he would be returning to the Academy.
So perhaps when Madame Roula was faced with losing the Diaa/ Saad love story she thought she would draw us in once again by bringing Mustapha for a visit.
It isn’t the first time the integrity of the Star Academy voting system was questioned and also not the first time that it appears there are clever and conniving plots to attract viewers by exploiting innocent love within the Academy. So what’s your verdict: Were the results fixed?

Since the nominees were announced last tuesday it was obvious Dia was going, Moroccan voters have never beaten Egyptian voters, especially as Mirha is quite popular.
Also Rola propably knew Dia was going because its her sixth time and people have got bored of voting for her. I dont think Rola would have fixed the voting, she bought Mostafa back because he's been missed and he left quite abruptly anyway, without a second chance.
the votes werent fixed because u didnt see what we di in egypt from tuesday till friday some of us didnt sleep and some of us voted with 1000 pounds a day so obviously it wasnt fixed and i would like yo tell u that diia's votes are only high because their were three groups of supporters voting for her which were saad's supporters shahinaz's supporters and diia's supporters so obviously her votes had to be high because of egyptians and morrocans and labanese but last prime she lost a group of supporters which were the egyptian group because most of them were voting for mirhan so it wasnt fixed at all

he didnt get his chance while other candidates have been nominated 3 ,4 ,5, even 6 times !!!

Guys I assure u the voting IS NEVER FIXED.
It can't be cause LBC doesn't have access over the votes.
Plus the vote is controlled by Endemol (French producers) so there is no way they would allow cheating.
Now LBC can know in advance who won the votes but it can't change it.
Like with Mostapha we had the highest votes until before the prime but during the prime the egyptians voted like crazy and so mirhan Won. A friend of mine who works in LBC told me that if LBC could nave changed the votes they would have cause they wanted Safo to be saved by the viewers and Mima her friends. Here's why:
The night before that prime a scam was fixed by the boys in the bathroom to take Safo out if he's not saved by the audience that way they would get ride of him (strong competitor). that's why Zaher and Mo gave there votes to Amal but wen Amal was vs Badr they gave a "chance" to Badr.
Or maybe Amal is loved more than Mustapha.....
I doubt there was a scam because the students dont think like that at all...they actually thought that Safo would come back by votes.

Endemol does franchise the show to LBC but does not deal with the voting! If Endemol did the voting, they would have voting from the USA and Canada since they have a huge presence in the USA!
Superstar and StarAc are franchised and the LBC/Future have to follow certain rules of procedure but the voting is controled by a local company contracted by LBC.
One thing, for 5 years, we never heard on Staracademy how votes are controlled. NOT ONCE have they discussed it. If it was truely controled by Endemol, don't you think that StarAc would announce that to stop all the speculation about fake votes? The press always discusses the fake vote results!

Moustafa's visit..Mme Roula if you think about it..brought him so IF Mirhan leaves..she leaves with him and happy..notice he didn't bring any clothes with him...so by the time he walked in on stage the voting stopped and Mme Roula probably found out who stayed through an earpiece or whatever..or even before he walked in on stage by 5 mins or so 5 mins wouldn't make a difference in the voting..soo she asked Moustafa to stay!

Im from Iran. I watched all the time subtitles and the votes Dia had majority the votes. ( I think over70-80%)Its obvious that madam rola changed the vote of dia delibratly and increased the vote of mirhan. it s realy un fair and we cant forgive her for doing that. because Dia already is a singer and she could make her as an international singer whom is from star academi!!!!

Who are the best merchants in the world, and for centuries ? The Lebanese. Have you heard of the (English!) term - the "Lebanese networks" ? Rula Saad will do her utmost - and disregard everything else - to sell the show ! This is the bottom line ! It is really "amazing" so many viewers cannot swallow up that all they see is the fabrication, the "reality" from the Rula's workshop. I can accept that the show has become this peculiar kind of a soap opera (with the Gabi's class as an on-site training facility), but, what I miss is the good music the show was providing in the past seasons much more than now.

when the first season was about to start it was in the media that the Dutch production company Endemol (their subsidiary in Spain invented the show) sold franchise for the StarAc to the LBC. That has nothing to do with the telecom company the services of which are used for the show! The LBC offered that part to the best bidder, the local Lebanese company, and it has never been revealed under what conditions - what is normal in the business. So, this is a business secret and what really happens we will never know. The term used on this forum is "cheating" (and some mention even the jail in connection with it).
It is not relevant if the cheating is going on or not, if the results are rigged or not. That was my mistake in the previous seasons when I assumed the fair play and the talent should be the criteria. What matters is only what is the best for the LBC and - at the same time - not outrageously implausible. The winner is always the best option for the LBC interests and a plausible candidate for the public. That's why in the 3rd season Lebanese Joseph could "beat" the Egyptian Hani. This season, if by nothing else, it is interesting because there are four almost equally plausible candidates, so Rula Saad has free hands to pick one who is the best option for her company. We may not like it, as there is no fair play (we all live in the English speaking countries, and there is no more English-like expression than the "fair play"), but, that is another matter. In the Middle-East the fair-play is a new idea; with time things will hopefully change.

i think the voting results were fixed,as someone wrote ..all the votes were going to diaa,,,suddenly mirhan's votes became higher?we all knew the results when we saw mustafa come back and was promised to stay 2days,,it was quite clear that mirhan was going to stay,,anyways we are happy where diaa reached atleast she got to where she is with dignity and with one close relation unlike mirhan who wants all of them at once,.Diaa will be someone veryyy important one day.

I myself come from ksa and there is not a single person I hord them say I like dia or lets vote for dia. as the saudi voting is strong, but it is very hard for them to vote to people from other then their country. If they vote to other students it means they really like them. However there are some people who likes saad in ksa so I am think those people might have voted to dia.
