Lebanese legend Toni Hanna kicks off the prime, with one of his most famous songs ‘Yaba Yaba La’.
Saad sings along Toni and does a good job at this great song.
I loved the fact that there was a live band playing on stage.
The first tableau of the prime is a Lebanese tableau starring Saad and Abdullah and Shahinaz.
Mohammad appeared at towards the end of the tableau and sang ‘Al Dalouna’.
The two nominees come out on stage, Mirhan in a white, sparkly dress and Diaa and a black ensemble.
Diaa sings a French song and Mirhan sings Haifa’s ‘Ya Hayat Albi’.
It’s time for the second guest of the night to perform; Amal Hijazi. She adorns the stage in a long, purple dress. Shahinaz sings along the star. They do one of Amal’s new songs in the Khaliji dialect.
Mirhan and Mohammad are in the center of a portrait.
Mirhan was strapped to a rotating wheel that kept on rotating throughout the whole song, while Mohammad sang ‘Ahibek Akrahek’.
I wonder, didn’t she feel dizzy at the end of the song?
Nader sings Mika’s famous song ‘Everybody’s gonna love today’.
I have to give it him, he does a good job at it!
Toni Hanna performs again now and sings ‘Khatarna Ala Balak’. Abdullah sings along this time and so does Mohammad.
Shahinaz is now in the center of a lovely tableau, where she sings Laila ghofran's 'Assahelhalak'.
Amal Hijazi perofrms again. this time she sings alone and she does 'Ahla Ma Fi Al Ayam'.
This week there's no Top 3, but there's a Friend of the week, It's not mohammad ... it's Mostafa! Do you still remember Safo? ;) You'd imagine how Mirhan reacted!
He's going to be staying for a couple of days in the Academy with his friends. What a surprise!
Nader and Diaa are the center of a revolutionary tableau in memorium of Che Guevara. They sing 'Comandante Che Guevara' by Nathalie Cardone.
Saad now sings 'Ya Msafer Wahdak' by Mohammad Abdel Wahhab, accompanied by Michelle on the piano. Then out of nowhere, his mom (which was a singer back in the days) appears and sings along too.
Amal Hijazi sings again. Shahinaz sings 'Baheb Kalamak' with her.
Toni Hanna ends the prime with a final performance with Shahinaz, they sing 'Tal Essahar'.
As for the major part, the suspense, the results ... which for the very first time depend only on the audience voting.
The unlucky girl to leave the academy tonight is Diaa! Hard Luck Diaa!

I was also a little disappointed in Saad's song with Toni Hana at the beginning, it sounded a bit dull and i expected Saad to sing better, i think the song should have stayed with Mohammad but oh well.
I also think Mohammad did AMAZING this prime, this guy has really focused his time, his amr diab tableu was greatly sang and his voice really filled the stage.
At first when Abdullah came on with Toni hanna, i got soooo annoyed because the song suited Mohammad. Im just getting bored of Abdullah's voice, everything he sings is the same. I actually just cheered when Mohammad came on and he sounded soooooooo good, he completly wiped Abdullah to the floor with his voice, the long notes he sang were stunning. Darkstar - calm down, face the facts, Dia hasnt done ANY progressing at all..NOTHING.NIL. She stopped working a long time ago. She cant sing arabic and she attempted but failed. Although i think she definatley has a stronger voice than Mirhan, Dia has been given her chances and it wouldnt be fair for her to return.
I quite liked Dia and wished she'd come back but they all have to leave sooner or later. But trust me, Mirhan wont reach the final.
The only true stars of this show are Mohammad & Saad...they have constantly been working throughtout the show and are amazing on stage. They have the personality of a true star and their passion for music really shows.
The two i would want to win are Saad or Mohammad. No one else deserves it as much as they do.

The prime today showed how much the love stories are all fake :
- Saad stood here motionless when the votings were announced .He didn't console her or say goodbye and he went to hug Mirihan first. I was watching the 24/7 channel and Saad was hugging Mirihan and all over her. No signs of sadness or anything.
- Nader voted for Dia in the reportage.I thought he did because she was from El Maghreb El 3arabi but someone here said that he voted against this area before.
He didn't say Mabrook or anything. I was watching now and while Mirihan was celebrating with Mohamed , he was sitting eating and went only to console Shahinaz.
- Also another conclusion from today's prime. MOHAMED definitely has a thing for MIRIHAN !
He was the first to hug her when she won and carried her and kept hugging her again and followed her on the stage. Ten minutes ago on the 24/7 channel , he was the one celebrating with her and carrying her all over the academy and hugging her numerous times. He also told her to concentrate more on her lessons and singing.

connections and has been using all the means available to stick to the job as an octopus! When the LBC bought the StarAc license from the Franch show (actually invented and based in Spain), thanks to the phenomenal Bashir Gemayel, who founded the LBC and whose innovative approach to TV is famous in the Middle-East, and when the Madame got the job, for the first two years she just copied the French show, was almost invisible, and all was very good. Regrettably the things went bad afterwords : the show has deteriorated so much that now any comparison with the French show seems like a bad joke!
After the second season flop, as the majority of students were below some acceptable standard, there was a little crisis, and with the third season Rula Saad decided to go on with some "innovations" that since then she has been pushing on and on; like the "acting" class, together with giving the dailies the prominent place, and all those things that have little to do with the stage singing. All along her presence in the show has been increasing - the Madame just adores to be in the spotlight.
The fourth season made a lot of cash, thanks mainly to the extraordinary generation of the students (and not to the managing director), so the swimming pool could have been added to the "academy" (though after the first month it was no more useful for the dailies). It did not require any "sacrifices" on the part of Rula Saad, and big, super-human struggle for her beloved StarAc; otherwise the LBC would nor spill the money on the redundant additions to the set. That she works 16 hours a day during the season period is normal, and all the media production directors do the same.
My point has been that her ideas have reached some limit, that she is not able to reform the show such as it is, and that for the show survival she needs to go - to be honorably retired by the LBC.

basically what is happening is that mustafa is paying no attention to mirhan, but she is flirting with him like there is no tomorrow, its so painful to watch, at every opportunity she moves over to him, and he moves away.
i dont think he is angry...perhaps its just because after the academy so many more beautiful girls have come into his life...and he no longer wants/ needs mirhan...(to make him more popular..?)if he ever did want her that way....

Ya, i am watching since they come back and it really is interesting, Mohammed hugged and swirled mirhan, sang at the top of his voice and carried mirhan on his shoulder.- he is very hyper, Saad is not as sad as i excepted, if he was with with diaa for the votes, , it wouldn’t hurt him to act for few more minutes and crying and all instead of holding it, so i don’t think he was with her for the vote.- but i just wanna see him cry. Then the guest of the prime came with michelle, did not stay long. Then safo came, mirhan is all giggly following him around with mohammed and abdella but he came back to the dinner table where shahy, nader and saad was sitting, now they are all sitting on the dinner table and talking and laughing.
to heba, safo doesn't look mad at mirhan, just enjoying hanging out with all of them.

my point for asking u that question(mayoub) was that i wanted a no answer but im happy u are fair enough to admit that. on that prime amel was a nominee for her third time (not fair right) just like dia but when u look at it diaa knocked out everyone who didnt deserve to be the finals and who were uncapable of getting to the finals which is good.

Im fustrated, that this vote was fixed....dia's voice is so amazing, after showing the video to many of my friends here in london, they have all agreed -that in english at least- she has something, and could actually be quite succesful....
she may not be able to sing arabic very well, but had the teachers on this star academy worked with her she....taught her as they are supposed we would have seen more from diaa im sure.
Although she sang in english star academy is supposed to be talent show representing the talent of the arab nations, therefore those who sing in other languages really shouldnt be hated against....but encouraged.
If only Dia had come to a singing competition HERE, perhaps then the public wouldnt be hating so much, but rather be proud and recognise her as part of he arab community...

I really do believe that Dia's voice is BREATHTAKING! It really is..but she hasn't improved since she was Top 1 with Nader. But she took her chances already..

Saad has the potential to be one of the GREATEST STAR and inshallah LBC will be fair this year....SAAD has so many fans and we are all behind him till the end!
