I guess it is every Arab star’s dream to make it worldwide and have people from outside the Arab world speaking about them. Well Haifa’s dream has come true for the second time but I am not sure if this made her as happy as it should have. A BBC article was just published about Haifa Wehbe’s appearance in Bahrain yesterday with a few added details about Bahraini MP’s objections about her appearance in this Islamic country.
Well there was a lot of question about whether or not Haifa would make it to Bahrain and yesterday she did! Haifa got on stage wearing a green dress that was far from ‘Haifa-like’! For it had sleeves and revealed no cleavage! The concert ran smoothly and there was a surprisingly large audience a lot of whom had arrived thinking that Haifa wouldn’t show. This problem has been blown up into a political dilemma and the MP’s are threatening to question the Minister of Information now that the concert went ahead.
Will Haifa be the reason they remove a Bahraini minister?!

Joe: Could you please not make comments on the men of a nations sexuality simply because you disagree with their religious beliefs. The only reason Haifa didn't wear something revealing or act provocative was because the organizers were warned that if she did any of the above there would be trouble. I believe you owe 'Bahraini men' an apology!
Probably most men in Bahrain, like men everywhere, enjoy looking at Haifa when she wears skimpy clothes. Too bad she is restricted in performing her art by a few pathetic, narrow-minded woolies in the government and media.
i didnt understand who can haifa love she doesnt can sing all womens in the world can make a lot of beauty operations and can make like her but they dont do that haifa is not a good women for her doing she forget her daughter she loves but her self and the money what did she do if anyday she doesnt look pretty and like michael jackson no one looks at her but she loose her daughter
To some people: Being religous is being narrow-minded. The country is an Islamic Country, therefore, it is NATURAL to not allow her to be her natural sexual self...for them to allow her anyways, is already far enough... wearing the clothes that she does, is crossing over the border really far. So do not say stuff like that about a country, and MOSTLY do not generalize... not everyone in there is like that too. I'm not from there, but i support decisions like that. May be now people can concentrate on her voice rather than her body... in my opinion she has no voice.. so this is a good lesson to her and to all those people that even dare to give her the title 'singer' cuz she ain't.. she's a 'sex icon'. I'm pretty sure bahrain lets other singers come in, that are actually there to SING not to cause corruption. Anyone that doesn't agree, not my problem...i have a final exam.. dunt mind me! lol ok take care ya'll.
