After all the wait, the final phase of the talent show Future Super Star 5 has begun.
12 contestants from around the Arab world are competing for an important title ‘Arab Super Star 2008’.
This year, the stage is much bigger, which mean more live audience is present.
The hosts are Super Star graduate Wael Mansour and a cute Lebanese girl by the name of Majdala.
As for the judges, you already know who they are! Ziad Butrous, Elias Rahbani, Abdallah al Goud and Jehan al Nasser from Egypt.
This time, there’s a new way for the judges to give their opinion of the contestants’ performances; after each performance, the judges press either a green or pink button; green for ok and pink for not so ok.
So, to kick off the 1st prime the contestants sang a medley together saluting their countries.
The 12 contestants are from Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine and Iraq.
Then it was time for each contestant to perform. (Videos of the performances)

5. Diana Sharaneq from Lebanon, Taa Ninsa.
6. Abdel Majid Ibrahim from Saudi Arabia, Diggu Al Mahabish.
7. Asma Al Jabery from Morocco, Baid Annak.
8. Murad Sweiti from Palestine, Yaba Yaba La.
9. Aidarous Al Aidarous from Saudi Arabia, Ikhtalafna.
10. Anoushka Ahmad from Egypt, Balak.
11. Abbas Ibrahim Ali from Iraq, Hal Indaki Shak.
12. Hussam Tarshishi from Lebanon, Attaier.
The 12 contestants did their best, but in my humble, personal opinion, three were so so ... Umaima, Abbas and Hussam!
Who will be leaving the show after the 1st prime? Which of the contestants will get the least votes? We'll see next Thursday during the results show.
As for the 2nd prime next Sunday, the guest will be Laila Ghufran.

This is what you can call a respectful show.
All the contest were awsome. You can't say this is better than the other. We enjoyed this show. In spite that some of them were somehow afraid being the first time to face the audience, they were all excellent.
I think either Umaima or Asma will leave next prime.
All the Lebanese were great specially Hussam. Personally I liked Ibrahim and Murad the most.

great show with great performances and singers every cime! this is not the show for star academy students who got mediocre voices! asmae and dounia from moroc did real great they aswell as eli bitar/diana sharane9/aidarouss/
