The prime kicks off with Jeena, then a song from Al Rouweshid joined by both Mohammad and Abdallah.
The first tableau of the night stars Saad, as usual.
It's also a Lebanese themed portray and Saad does a great job with the 'Mijana mawal'.
It's time for the nominees to come to the stage and sing.
The first to sing is Zaher, he sings 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' accompanied by the guitar playing of both Nader and Diaa.
Then Nader sings 'Apologize'. And Diaa sings 'Zombie' by The Cranberries. I have to say, this may be the best song Diaa sang all season!
It's time for Joe Ashkar to perform his first song for the night. Abdallah starts off the song and then Joe makes his entrance and sings along.

In a florescent green coat, she sings an oldie 'Ya Setti Ya Khitiara'.

The third tableau of the night is a Masquerade ... literally!
Abdallah sings Kathem al Saher's famous song 'Zidini Ishkan'.

Now it's time for Friend of the Week, this time it's Mirhan.
She wins an outing on a sunny day to the beach! she gets to pick one person to go with her and she picks Nader.
Abdallah Rouweshid sings the final song of the night just before Hilda announces the results.
The nominee to be saved by audience voting is Diaa with 61.05%
As for the nominee to be voted back in by the rest of the students, it's Nader.

After three moths of the StarAc as if I am losing interest ... There are most often maximum 2-3 performances per prime that I like, more than that can be considered a very lucky day. It does not bother me anymore who is going to win. I am only sure that after the season the only students who have the zing for the "stardom" and we may ever hear again are Muhammad, Shahinaz and Asma.
By the way, I have to be explicit, as you did not get me (and few times): if you were asking for the contact (yes, it "does not bother me"), it is on the yahoo, abdlzn.

If you think the StarAc is taking the wrong direction under the Rula Saad's management and needs restructuring and the new managing director in order to survive, and can spare 30 min to express your thoughts about it, then, think of addressing the problem directly to the LBC. Help with your contribution and make the StarAc once again the great show it was!
You should make a concise statement of your dissatisfaction, in any language you are best with; a paragraph or two-three, with a clear heading (beginning with "StarAc :"), and paste it in the page : lbcgroup.tv --- look for "contact us" and go there.
I am sure the majority can do it without any suggestions, though, for some it would be worthwhile to observe the few warnings:
------ No strong words ! You are writing to a company that likes to hear your feedback on what they do, yet, they are not interested in your emotions - rather in your opinion.
------ Do not attack Rula Saad as a person ! Comment on her job performance.
------ Do not attack the LBC ! They have both good and mediocre program managers like all the media houses. Emphasize that Rula Saad's departure and the show renewal would be also good for the LBC (and their profits).
------ The StarAc is basically about the popular music: limit your observations to the primes !
------ Do not base your arguments on anything in the dailies ! They are the "directed reality" part of the show (please, see the Note below).
------ Express your criticism by pointing out, for instance, to the subjects : the Arabic character of the show corrupted by the teachers increasingly giving students to sing in other languages; or, the equal treatment of all students losing credibility; or, the standard degradation - the show started on the same level as the French one and now way below; or, the emphasis having shifted from singing to the looks, or the soap opera (the dailies); or, the dailies being used for the character assassination (or the opposite) of students to influence some voters; or, Rula Saad abusing her absolute power to influence the eliminations; or, the show quality having become so poor that you are not watching it anymore. And so on.
The media houses think in terms of the "large numbers;" if the message gets repeated over and over again they pay attention! A few words from you is much better than nothing! Truly, your word counts!
Thanks for your contribution, and, if anyone in the LBC is left with some sense, let us hope Rula Saad will be retired !

Besides the classroom and the students with visitors scenes, the dailies are all directed, a sequence of set-ups : the situation frames are provided by the production team and the rest is improvised by the students - it is all just the fiction. Do not base your arguments on what is fictional and meant for the entertainment !
All cameras are recording and possibly there are some non-directed events that are included later on; or some students get temporarily brainwashed and believe for a time in something prompted by the set-up situations, and keep on talking along the lines, spontaneously; but, 95% is a pure fiction (and families of the students know that and are not going to get "heart-attacks" after the staged pranks, like Dia and Nader appearing in bandages, or Shahi losing consciousness; the "control" is always there). We are not shown the background of it all; the maintenance and production people who move around in the house like in any movie set (the 24/7 is "real time" - with half an hour delay for editing, as in all other similar shows). Also, what is the purpose of the Gabi's class? There is no acting in the primes, and the class is not about the real stage acting. It is just a drill for the set-ups, for what we see in the dailies. (The class was introduced in the 3rd season when the dailies became a prominent feature of the show; Gabi was hired the same year, and Aida left; she had a class that was a combination of the Gabi's and Oussama's class - with the accent on the latter.)
I would like to remark, though I do not have the experience : if you are in a house all day long with the same group of people, and stay there 2-3 months, even as the 25 year old you can get brainwashed. Did anyone notice last year how drastically Sally changed during the tour, after the primes? You can argue that some students intentionally brainwash themselves, but, that is the same thing.
However, the other matter is getting in the controlled environment, by the situations manipulation, your character image as the show management would like it, and using it : there will be always people who vote for these fictional characters and looks and not for what they hear in the primes. For very young this is normal; Rula Saad counts on their votes for achieving her schemes.
PS:
The last thought: even if we do not know a lot, and, for example (!), the whole plot is just to get Abdullah to win - because somebody from the Saudi family is going to make a large donation to the LBC, even then, whatever Rula Saad is plotting, the public is aware the StarAc is missing the initial quality and is becoming a show we do not care for anymore.

if u lot are wondering how diaa got the highest votes. It all started when mirhan was calculating hows ganna go and who’s ganna stay. They only showed u lot half of the of the story. They didn’t show u that mirhan made a plan, she called on all her fans and Egypt to vote to nader, like that nader gets the votes, and then the students have to chose between diaa & zaher. Zaher told her either way diaa is coming coz abdallah is ganna vote for diaa, therefore diaa wins by 3 votes and I have 2 votes only. Mirhan when to abdallah and presuded him that he should vote to zaher, abdallah agrued. Now everything was clear like that diaa was for sure to go out. But not if madam roula save the day for saad (her son). The Cinderella story was not finished there for diaa couldn’t co yet. I now sure nader’s voting was uncountable, he got votes from algiera, Egypt, khaledje and Tunisia I now for sure that the 61% was nader’s and the 36% was diaa’s they swept it. Although I am not fan of mirhan but one advice do not make plans against madam roula love once nor make it in front of her, all u’ll be the next to follow.

It was one of the most boring primes ever. I don't know why they have kept girls in the academy so far while they don't sing much in the primes and why most of the songs in the primes are repetitive. If my memory serves me right Strange in the night was sung By Ahmad in the fourth season. Mirhane's medly was sung by Rakia. It was the same about Saad's medly,Zaher's song as well as Abdallah Rauwashid and Shahinaz's song. And again unequal distribution of songs in the prime. I was sick of watching Abdallah, Mohammad and Saad paticipating in every song. On the other hand, Shahinaz with that great voice sang just half of a song and unlike last primes nominees were completely excluded. It's really intresting that Diaa always gets these high percentages. I guess people like her personality and undoubtedly she's one of the bests between students when it comes to performance.
Anyway, I am pretty sure that Nader will be nominee in the next prime although he's my favorite in this season.

Zaher maybe he didnt have the best voice but he improved..but i do think it was his time to leave.. logically, 5th time :S? diaa too..she has a good voice and all but WHEN SHE STAYED INSTEAD OF NADER FROM THE AUDIENCES VOTES? that was unexpected.. nader deserves to actually.. and the prime IS getting more boring by the week.. its like a routine..we know after the 1st break whast gona happen and alll, they should change once in awhile.. and Mohammad, i personally dont think he should have won the top 1.. because i hear all the teacehrs wanna put him nominee and then they put him top 1, tehy dont know how to make up their mnd..
and hnestly i didnt like him at all this prime..
ithe first song with abdulla rweished..was really bad, his voice didnt ound good at all and when he sang with fersen el arb3a.. he jut didnt know what he was doiing.. wel3etttttt every 2 seconds..it was just not right at all.. well thats my opinion.. and also abdullas singing alot..they should give everyone chances to sing as much as others. really.. anyway good lck for nader i wish he wont be nominee again :)
and for shahinaz.. she might have a good voice and she dserves to go to the final 4-5 .. but like last year..shaza won just cuz of her voice..she had a really bad prsonality..but we expected her to win..and thats what i dont like..we expect mohammad shainaz or abdulla to win ust cuz of their strong voices.. that doesnt have to be this way.. their strong voices is a gift of god..what should make them win is if they have the ability to make the voices sound better.. for ex mirhan she might not have the voice like abdulla..but shes working hard..and nader, hes amazing in english and french.. and hes not that bad in arabic but he should work harder..and like i saw a couple of days back.. he wanted to sing that khalid slim song bas they didnt let him..so its not his fault.. so i wish someone unexpected and someone i like wins :)

this is star academy lbc means lebnanon arab country we looking for something new for the arab not for europe or the west.
there are two voices that are really good and different than what we hear lately those voices are shahy and mohamad the rest are ok for nader and diaa where they are now is good enaugh for them can't go further saad there are many voices like and better then his voice it's not big deal. for abdullah he is there to kill the beautiful songs he is really terrible specially for byi7en and zidini 3ich9an I felt a shame to hear him singing I don't know why those experts didn't see this or they closing there eyes may be who knows why????????for kirhane she definetly should go home other wise you are going to see her naked in the prime
