Today i am sad and happy at the sametime that amal has left. i am happy coz amal was treated unfairly and almost seemed forgotten, in the academy. roula saad choose to make mirhan shine more and encourage her although the only best thing she is good at is acting. amal had everything her voice wasn't as gr8 as shahinaz, bt was 2nd or 3rd best and defiantly better then mirhan. gr8 performer, good acter in gabi's lesson bt was never able to show it coz she doesn't get the support that mirhan gets. if u released wat they say about mirhan now was the first things they used to say about amal b at the begging of the prog and they trying now to make mirhan wear amal’s personality on the stage.

"Should Rula Saad leave the StarAc ?"

The Madame had certainly done for the show all she could, in the beginning, and, as in the last years the direction of the StarAc is going astray, it would be inevitable to conclude that for the survival of the show, and the good of the LBC, her departure is desirable. The reasons for such a conclusion, just to name a few prominent, are the following:

---- The show is getting saturated with the non-Arabic junk. Why is the Arabic show having so many Anglo-Saxon songs? Is It because it has to accommodate every season an increasing number of students who cannot sing in Arabic? Or, maybe the Madame is expecting to sell the show in the west (what would be a nonsense)? It is not true what Wadi3 says that the show is about the music and the language does not matter; if it does not, why Dia did not sing "Marsul el-Hob" in French; or, why they do not sing "La Vie En Rose" in Arabic? Neither the American nor French similar shows have so many foreign guests and so much singing in foreign languages - and in the west they call Arab countries conservative and insular!?
A step further in pushing this prejudice about the internationalism and the "modernity" is that some students sing in an "old" style, and, hence, are not interesting performers, like Saad. If he is criticized as making every his song sound like Abdel Halim Hafez, how come in the western StarAc shows they still sing songs as Édith Piaf or E. Presley did it - and are proud of it? Is Carole Samaha or Masari "styles" the only ones that should appear in the StarAc?

---- The basic assumption all students are treated equally is losing the credibility. There are numerous examples of how the treatment of students over the years have been biased; but this year is showing the culmination of the trend. To mention just some most egregious examples. The previous prime Moha was ready to sing and right before it there was the reportage on him showing the guy in the most unfavorable light - right before his performance! The natural question of those who watch only primes was: is he really so bad character (and besides his singing should we care about it), and why it was shown just before his song - to throw him off the balance? Then, why Diaa has been nominated 4 times and Mirhan only once: is Diaa so much worse than the other one? In today's prime top-4: Mirhan better than Shahi? Moha absent from the list? Why is Wadi3 saying Shahinaz is not progressing and nothing about Nader? Wadi3 is possibly a gay, but it should not preclude his objectivity as a "professor."And so on, and on ...

---- The absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Madame apparently enjoys the absolute power as the Managing Director of the show. But, she has got carried away over the years and now behaves as an absolute Middle-Eastern monarch. Her presence in the primes has increased quite a lot. If she were able to sing - in any measure - we could have seen her on the stage with Mme Mary, and who knows how many more times afterwords. She enjoys the spotlight, and, cannot be said is not narcissistic. Interesting that another Rula Saad, a singer, caries the same first name and not only that: even after the cosmetic surgeries still has the same face shape and features of the StarAc director (unfortunately, the jaw cannot be replaced as yet; the young lady can be seen on the youtube, with Sabah).
Rula Saad's handling of the money matters is good, but there are other people in the LBC who are equally efficient in the area. She is "only human" and often her approach is too personal towards some students, what should not happen in an "Academy." Luckily for her, the money interests she has are even stronger and do not interfere with the personal bias she has for students: when it comes to that point, she is just exploiting them - "for the benefit of the show."

Conclusion:

Rula Saad has exhausted all her ideas and taken them to the limits; the show needs a new approach, a reconsideration of it's basics, and -- the new management, the new Managing Director. It is time for the Madame to retire from the show! This is the only way the LBC can save the show from the further quality deterioration and eventual disappearance. At the end of the season --
we call on Rula Saad to resign!

OMG it was so obvious I couldn’t continue watching the prime coz I know that amal was going out, when they brought her sister. It was predictable that amal was going and diaa & zaher was coming bk her is the reasons.
1. amal’s sister coming during her being in nominee is not good sign
2. Reportage about diaa, the beautiful grl and whether she is ganna make to the finals or not
3. when madam roula was announcing the friend of the week I thought she was ganna give it to zaher coz she was looking at him, then she said nader. And well, well he chose zaher with confidant that he was coming bk.

wallah at that point I went and only come bk to see for my self my predication and they were 100% correct. Wallah amal deserve all the best she was a very specially character I personally admire her and good luck and I agree with maryam she is better off out that place

p.s. diaa was smiling when the result was ganna be announced as if she can’t wait the result to come out coz she knew she was ganna win it. Believe me or not I am personally sure that the result was manipulated. And all of u lot know wat happens when u are on 1 number of nonmination.

if you watch how they put the students up and down you can know who will be next. when they want to put them up they do give a lot of song to sing and show them more in the prime and then when they want to get rid of them they start taking from them songs and ignore them and then you see the student less and less.

I agree with u, i said the same thing a month ago. It is just like what happened last year. She kept on showing shada on the dailies continuously creating this little incedents, at the end of the day who does the audiences remember, the person who sings well and who kept on coming on the dailies, besides that they will feel like there has been injustice and will be pulled towards that person. and winners don’t win many things in the academy., Saad is just sweating for nothing.

The prime was boring as usual. If I want English singing I can watch American Idol, it's at least GOOD!! I canot believe Zahe s staying!! He's kicked out a lot of people who are better than he is. Why are the students so stupid?? I don't like any of them and I could care less who wins or wha happens in the dailies. This show is dead to me.
