i totally agree. zaher sucks and its not even funny anymore. he is worse than alot of people who left the academy. but i think the nominations were fair. amal m, has been chosen a nominee too many times and it has gotten to a point where it is now pathetic. she wouldnt last one second in the academy if her friends didnt vote for her. same for amal b. we all know the only reason they are still in is because rola needs them for the academys angels. these girls need to go back to reality. and obviously one of them will be very soon.

You know, I think Dia and Amal M are the new Sally and Ali: I think they'll be nominated until they get out. I'm a bit disappointed that Dia is nominated, but I have to say she didn't impress me at all at the eval! So yeah, she deserved it (a bit).
I loved the way Amal B comforted Dia! Saying that she has to be strong and should not cry, because then the people would think that she is indeed weak! Well said Boushousha! You're a great person! She's nominated with her best friends and comforts them! That's really nobel of her.
Sadly enough Dia will leave this week! No way she can beat up Amal B; they're not giving free sms all the time!

thanks for responding! I'm convinced Dia is going out this week! Too bad, but I'd leave too after 3 nominations. 1 nomination: that's not bad, it can happen. 2: well, bad luck maybe, and not so bad either, but still...
3 nomination: not that bad, but after you're 3rd one, I think you have to leave!
Remember some students who were nominated for 5 times, but kept coming back and went on the tour just because they reached the highest levels in StarAc. That's not fair, in my opinion.

I think they should give the students a limit on their nominations: if you're nominated for more than e.g. 3 or 4 times, you have to be eliminated. That way you can give chances to others! Last year Shada(1) was almost nominated because she was standing next to Sally(5 or 6), what would have happened if Shada was eliminated? It just wouldn't be fair, because Sally had 5 chances and it was Shada's first chance. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

I 'd say your idea about the teachers is much, much better than this one about the nominations limit. However, in both cases it would not suite the Rula & Co., as it would tie "their hands." What they need is the high ratings and I do not believe they care a dime for the individual candidates. The best actor in the show is the very boss of the show, the Madame. She is a business woman in the first place, and all her "mothering" is just a posture.

With your idea about the teachers I'd like to see that these teachers have absolutely nothing to do with the nominations, which should be left to the independent judges (like in the "Studio al Fan"). Unfortunately, then the show would be about singing, like the 1st season, and the soap opera frame would disappear, and I am not sure the LBC would like it.

If a student is nominated it is beyond me how that student can improve in just a week - it is even physically impossible ! Therefore, the same student should stay in the queue out for at least 2 weeks, if not longer. Because of that I have a problem with your new idea ...

I do not know what to tell you ... To make a good show about singing and make a lot of many at the same time, with the inexperienced, raw candidates, is not easy and you have to sacrifice one any way you turn it around, Normally, the Rula & Co. have the cash as the bottom line. And season after season the show is losing in quality.

I do not believe Amal M will fall out; and it will be sad not to see either Dia or Bashousha in the tour; so, let us hope Rula will eventually add the 10th student to the tour (like the l;last year they planned 8 and finish with 9).

Mohammad is the best ...even in the prime ,,the teachers just pick Mohammad to sing with Ahmad Al-Sherif bcoz he is the only student who has a beautiful voice and really able to sing with high level voice as Ahmad Al-Sherif (while Nadir sing with Ahmad Al-Sherif just bcoz they are from the same Country) ....

while the teachers didn't let Zahir , Abdullah and Saad to sing with Ahamd Sherif bcoz of their terrible voices and looks and to not show the huge gape of their poor voices especially Abdullah and Zahir ( and horrible look in Abdullah’s case)...while they didn’t let Saad to sing with Al-Sherif despite his voice is good but not that much strong and his voice can't adapt all types of songs as well as his carizma in daily life and appearance in the stage in the prime is not that much superior or convincing , so the huge gape will appear again...
While Mohammad is the best and can sing all types of songs and sing with Al sheriff as if they are a team or a duet...

Amal B. and Amal M. deserves more to stay.Diaa is very talented and got a huge vocal capacity but she cannot really sings in arabic and they have to accomodate her all the time with non-arabic song which is a bit unfair.
She could have apply to be in the French Star Academy rather than the arabic one really.
And she would have been very far in the competition.
I am not hatin' on anyone really but this is what I think.
Amal B had great performances with Najwa Karam and Nawal Al Zoghbi and proved she was able to sing nicely along arab superstars...
Amal M. is just nice...Something I liek about her dunno what it is but hey :-)
I love Diaa but I think she just choose the wrong show despite her great vocal.

I think that a lot of poeple will think that Diaa will got the votes as it happend last week, so they will vote a lot for Bouchoucha,
So the results will be like this :

Dia will go Out.

I can tell you one thing: if Dia gets the public votes Rula will change the rule and have the last 10 students in the tour. The bastards!

I did not pay attention to Dia until recently, because of her singing in English, and would just skip that part of the recording (sorry, cannot stand an Arab show with that much of the west in it; it happened gradually over the years, the season 4 was already too much to bear); but, somehow her voice caught my attention. I would say that she is a natural Andalusian singer ("Maghrebi from Belgium" noticed the same), born for it; and nobody in the StarAc, present or past, can match her on that ground. The other thing I noticed: in the last prime when she was singing with Nader and Chris de B., she was the dominant voice - without "screaming" or effort, even though nervous, normally (as a nominee), during the prime.

It is worthwhile listening to what Mr.Fouad says: he has an ear for talents, and has discovered several current "stars," and, as the supervisory director of the show can say whatever he wants and to anyone - including Rula Saad.

One more thing: after the first nomination there a slight voting fatigue in the public, and the support eventually drops significantly in the third consecutive prime. Rula knows that, and I believe mostly for this reason Dia was already nominated once. Rula knows her game well; but, for these students, whatever they say or we think, this is not a "game."

I hope that two girls leave the academy this week.Amal B and Dia because both of them started a fight with moe , then they blamed and accused him for these fights because he can't control his temper!

I wish for her the best of luck to turn back.
Just for the main raison, is that because she is one of the persons with Saad who stop the cirminal Mohammed who everybody hate him.
I've never seen in any real tv show a person with Mohammed's education. A person who insulted even god.
Voice is not everything in the artist. The behaviour is more important. Even in our religion islam, behaviour is the priority more than even science.
The persons who say that Diae has no talent, should really clean their ears. SHe is in the same level with Nader. Morever, she has a very very special typ of music that she excelles through. And I challenge any person can sings as she does. She has an amazing strengh in her voice. and I see her diva in the black music .
Now she is paying the fact the she is a very strong girl, she is so faithful to her principles and she doesn't care for any one. Even the Ghoula has begged her to turn back to Saad, and she keeps her dignity.
We don't care here for the jalous persons, and certainly they are Kweder 's fans. It's enough to know who is kwder to knwo his fans's behviour too. They say that fans look like their ideol. SO this is true.
No one can convince me that Mirhane, Zaher Amel M and amel B are much better then Diae. Thank god we have ears to distinct .
It's enough for Diae the great love of her fans.
We are so proud of you Dodo in Morocco, of your talent and behviours. You are internatinal star and I hope that she can partcipate in Stara academy in France, especially they pass always the casting in Morocco, and even the concerts hers. At least the frech peope , know how to take care of talents, far of the cheating of the LBC that like more bodies than voice.
