Any of you who have read my previous article on Facebook will know that I simply love it, but there are a lot of people out there who find Facebook to be a killer. Literally, In Saudi Arabia quite a while ago a woman was beaten and shot to death after she was caught using Facebook to chat with men –obviously a big no-no. Many have been unhappy about the use of the social networking site in Saudi Arabia especially Ali Al-Maliki who has clarified that he feels that Facebook is a ‘is a door to lust’.
Although this killing occurred back in August it was only brought it following Maliki’s anti-Facebook campaign. I must say that I agree to an extent that the misuse of Facebook can be dangerous and that not only may it allow men and women to engage in inappropriate activity but it is a door for perverts and pedophiles. I guess the only alternative would be to banning Facebook completely or even parts of it but this censorship will not be welcomed by the youth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

i agreee even 2 of those who were with the strike that happened in egypt , they were making a group to encourage people for this strike . They were prisoned ( a boy n a gurl) by amn el dawla and who knows what will happen to them . It isnt safe anymore!!!

I agree with Cherry. People need to know how to use it. Don't even accept people you don't know. I don't accept loosers like that! Hamdullah, i've beena facebook-er for like 3 or 4 years now.. i'm still alive, thank God. And i don't know any stalkers too. Every single person on my list i know PERSONALLY (school, work, family, friends, or friends of my friends!). It's actually pretty secured too. You can choose who can see your full profile, and how much each and every single person in your list can see. You can personalize it soo much. I have that on my page! You can even put yourself unsearchable, so this way, you can add people yourself.
So girls and boys, don't be stupid! You have a brain, use it.. and use it WISELY!!!!

Facebook isn't dangerous, its the people that can't control themselves, obviously women that did such things on facebook weren't satisfied with whatever their relationship was.
I use facebook and actually its the best thing ever, i found my friends which i haven't talked to for years and years, its a very good way to bring people together, i also agree that it is harmful, but only if you let it be that way.
Problem isn't with Facebook, its people and how they react, and how immature relationships tend to get online these days, not only facebook, but chat rooms which are way more dangerous , since they could have access to the IP address and track you down.
